* I started writing this my sophomore year of highschool then I got really board with it but I'm picking it up again. Tell me if you have any comments, questions, improvements, an/or concerns. Thanks! Not gonna lie though this is my favorite price of work and holds a special place I'm my heart! I always end up coming back to it.
Prologue
June
San Diego, California
Do you ever get the feeling that you have made a huge mistake? Well I get that feeling everyday, ever since I let her go. People always thought she could do so much better, and even I knew she could. I truly have no idea why she picked me; but she did and I think it was the best time of my life, and I truly mean that.
Cylie was her name; she had short chestnut hair and beautiful brown eyes to match. Her favorite thing to do was make puns and be outside in the nature. When she got stressed you could always tell her face would break out, but nothing to big just small blemishes. Ones you wouldn't even notice unless she pointed them out, which she always did. She cared about everything and everyone; you could always tell, not just about me but everyone she knew and even strangers. To me she was perfect.
The best part about her was defiantly her spontaneity. Cylie always strived to try new things, but never the "bad stuff". Strait edged all the way. Cylie was clean, never did or wanted to do drugs or alcohol. I think that is what attracted me to her.
Now I am sitting outside her one story bungalow. A yellow Nissan Xterra, probably her husbands, and a pea green Subaru Outback sitting in the small driveway. Looking at the Outback I can almost hear her gentle voice and see the smile on her face. I am truly amazed she has not traded it in for a newer model. Looking at the bungalow I can see it is just like she described the one she always wanted, and always told me she would get. The memories star to rush back into my head, and I feel as if I am back in Miami. The memories are so vivid almost like I just stepped into a movie of my life spent with Cylie.
