Maggie Forde had quite the history for a girl of only fifteen years. She hardly touched on it though. When she did, it was rare and very subtle, even though her friends - Jack, Raf, Miko, and five alien robots - wanted to hear more. She kept her mouth sealed shut.

Maggie was a fifteen-year-old girl who had long and curly black hair, pale skin dotted with freckles, and brown eyes. Her mother always commented on how she was always the "perfect blend" of both of her parents. That went for not just her appearance, but her personality as well.

As for hobbies, Maggie was the Colorguard captain for Memorial High's marching band. Coming up with routines and maintaining the order of her team was her specialty. She was very smart, too, and her grades had never been below a C+. And if anyone she knew were to describe her with one word, it would be either confident or courageous.

She was a part of her high school's weightlifting team also. She enjoyed fitness and activity like that. Of course, this left her with a muscular and fit figure. Several of the jerky jocks of the school - ahem VINCE ahem - picked on her for being a muscular girl and that no guys would like her. Maggie knew they said that because they were jealous that she was more muscular than them. And besides, Maggie didn't want any male attention, but female attention was a different thing...

Her mother was Rebecca Forde. She had light brown curly hair and blue eyes. She was a war veteran and a former lieutenant for the US military. Rebecca's eyes may have been bright and she tried to show a smile all the time, but her blue eyes clearly showed sadness. Maggie's beloved mother was depressed and traumatized, as many veterans are. She looked tired all the time and spaced out quite easily, but she made sure her daughter had a happy life despite what they've gone through.

Maggie's father was not to be spoken about. Rebecca never wanted to speak of him, only saying that he was her biggest mistake and a threat to the world. Maggie was about eleven when she last saw him, and she quickly understood why her mother hated him so much.

"Your father is dead," Rebecca would say, "At least to us."

Maggie agreed and hardly ever said anything about him. If anyone asked about her father, she would simply tell them the truth.

"He left us."
