"He was delivered to the Dursley's house safely last night?", he asked trying to stifle the tears. "Yes, Severus, and we are taking Hermione tonight.", Dumbledore was still trying to perceive how Voldemort was not able to kill two young children, but kill many other wizards and muggles alike. "Is she also going to the Dursley's?" "No, No she is going to Lily's cousins, the Granger's.". At hearing her name Snape teared up "Sir may I some time alone?", and with that he walked out.

Hours later, Mcgonagall and Dumbledore stand in the Granger's yard. "Why couldn't we have put both of them in the same house?" she said. "Because...",Dumbledore faulted for a minute, "Because even though we think that they defeated Voldemort we never know if he may come back and try to hurt them again."

Finally Hagrid came with the young girl. she couldn't have been over three years old. She cried for her brother, she cried for her parents, she cried for her friends, but she cried for herself most of all. "Shh, Hermione, shhhh." Hagrid hushed her.
