How the hell did we lose.

Y/N  POV

"Y/N! Are you alright?"  A figure said grabbing my hand and pulling me close to them. I sighed in relief.
"I'm fine, thank you..."
"No problem, Y/N " I suddenly realised who I was talking to as I looked up to see Alejandro. I jerked away as he sighed and lowered me down.
"The Nile, it's there!" Owen said pointing towards a long river with Chris standing on the other side.
"Ok guys! I'm changing our route!" Alejandro called out to us as we turned to face the Nile.
"Sfstvdhjkycjuwfjuadjjdsxbkhdhjtgnb" Chris yelled out gibberish to us as we looked at each other in confusion.
"Does anyone understand the hell this man is saying?" I asked
"Nope." Tyler replied.
"I SAID WEAVE A BOAT OUT OF REEDS AND RIDE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE NILE WITH YOUR GOAT!"
"Hey!"
"I believe he meant this goat" Alejandro said gesturing towards the actual goat.
"Oh thanks man." Tyler smiled slightly embarrassed. I rolled my eyes at Tyler's stupidity and looked at the reeds.
"This is great!!!!" Sierra cried.
"What the fact that we're hosed?" Noah asked.
"No, I'm a forth generation basket weaver!" Sierra said, " we're going to need a lot of reeds!" She said other teammates who rushed to grab reeds. This is just stupid. So dang stupid. Who is their right mind comes up with a challenge where you must build a boat to get across the Nile to carry a FREAKING GOAT. To put it simply I was pissed as hell. I grabbed reeds and tossed them behind me for Sierra to use. I turned around and saw team Amazon arrive on their camel as Sierra stopped weaving to talk to Izzy and Cody.
"You're so lucky you have Owen!"
"Yeah, but he's no Cody..."
"Maybe we can swap teams!"
"Yeah!"
"Surely there's rules against that." I said simply.
Confessional
"Izzy's one of my best friends but I do want to win money, if me and Izzy can make it to the merge then we can team up but right now I need Sierra because she is competent."
Confessional over
Chris pulls upon his fancy ass boat as Sierra runs over and hugs his legs.
"This is the best day ever and if you let me swap teams it would be the bestest day ever! But you're the best decider so I know you'll make the right choice!" Sierra smiled.
"And that's why I'm going to allow it"Chris said as his boat turned back to the finish line. Well played Sierra, well played.
The rest of our boat wasn't nearly as good as what Sierra did but it would get us across the Nile so it'll do.
"Who needs a basket weaver now!" Tyler said admiring his less than adequate work. I then looked over to the Amazon team. They had basically finished their boat and Cody was trying to force the camel in the boat while the girls just sat in the boat waiting.
"Izzy! Tell Ruby to get in the boat!" The brown haired girl said who I remembered as Courtney. I quickly went to cover Izzy's mouth as I turned to see Noah had the same idea. His hand was over Izzy's mouth and my hand was on top of his.
I pulled my hand away to cover my mouth and turned back to the boat obviously embarrassed.
"I-Izzy's on out team now! Not a word." He turned back to Izzy as he pulled his hand away.
"Oooo! Fun!" Izzy replied smiling.
We had finished our boat and we're ready to get on. Owen got on first, then Tyler, then Izzy, then Noah, them me and finally Alejandro and his boat. I was so focused on the boat I didn't even realise the Team Victory had arrived and was almost done with their boat. Amazon was still trying to talk to talk to the camel but there was no use.
"We are going to win fair and square but just so you know that. Izzy talk to the camel." Alejandro said. Izzy made her weird camel noises and the camel got onto the boat.

"I'll be real. I wasn't expecting that."

"Are you serious!?" I asked obviously annoyed.
"How'd we lose we were so far a head!" Tyler stated.
"Guys chill out. This is a non elimination round, as long as you brought your reward back your golden!" Chris declared. We all began cheering as Zeke looked over to his teammates and said he lost the stick. I laughed inside my head. Just how could you lose the stick? Welp I know who's going home tonight.
We headed to economy class as we came in second place annoyingly.
"I still don't get how we came in second!" Tyler said.
"You still don't get it, do you?" Noah asked.
"Wha do ya mean, bud?" Owen said obviously confused.
"It's Alejandro, he set us up to lose!" Noah whispered. He wasn't wrong. If Alejandro didn't tell Izzy to get Ruby on the boat we wouldn't be stuck in crappy economy class.
"Al would do th-"
"Hello teammates!" Alejandro had just walked in as Noah looked the other way. Owen smiled and waved back at "Al" as Izzy practically climbed on to Owen to say hi. Tyler waved and then turned his attention to the door of which team victory was in.
"What's wrong Tyler?" Alejandro asked.
"It's just...I'm worried about Lindsay! I don't want her to be out of the game! At least not yet, all I want is for her to remember my name..." Tyler looked at the ground and for a spilt second I actually felt bad for him. Poor dude just wants the love of his life to notice him. A/N I actually have mad respect for Tyler and feel sympathy for him irl #tylerdeservesjustice.   Just then we all heard the scream of Ezekiel and Duncan being thrown off the plane as our attention turned towards the door which flung open with the remaining team Victory members.
"Yay!" The girl who I only remember as the blonde bimbo cried out. Tyler ran up to her. Wait. Nope. I feel no sympathy any more. Tyler, dude, the girl is a dumbass!
"Lindsay! Congrats!" Tyler smiled while awkwardly congratulating Lindsay.
"Oh wow! Thanks Noah!" Tyler sighed and walked back to us. Noah and I just shared a laugh.
"Dude you gotta get her to learn your name, no offence but I don't want Lindsay thinking I'M Tyler!" Noah chuckled as Tyler just practically gave up and went to bed. I did the same. I was tired after weaving a boat in Egypt while running from crocodiles.
