His hair fell in his eyes as he turned his head. "Why are you even here. What makes you keep coming back ?" I sighed, not a worry of being locked in the house. Looking around the room at all the dusty tables I thought to myself. 'Does he live here? Why doesn't he go to school? Why didn't I see him when I was with the others?' More questions swirled in my head, but I force my eyes on the black haired red eyed boy before me. He couldn't have been but 18 maybe 19. I was curious about him. I wanted to know more about who he was. He smirked and chills went up my back causing me to shiver. "What are you?" I asked him the feeling I had telling me he wasn't human. "I could ask you the same question." He replied "what do you mean?" I asked confused and watching as he sniffed the air. "You don't smell human." I flinched. "You saying I smell bad?" He grinned but tried to hide it. "Your eyes," he began clearing his throat. "They don't seem human either." I thought of my own red eyes with their flicks of black. How they seemed to glow in the dark of the night. "I'm human, I have to be?" I questioned even myself as I was never a normal kid. "What are you?" I asked looking up and him. He hummed and walked around. I simply looked at the door studying the engravings on it. Surly done by a couple of no good teens. After a few minutes of shuffling from behind me I smell this metal. It was a sweet smell though. Not sickening. I knew what it was though. I turn and see the crimson red trickling down his palm as he smirked. I wanted to help and grabbed some ripped cloth. Yet there was a part of me that thought drink. 'Thirsty, need to drink.." It replayed over and over in my head and my throat began to burn. I didn't know what was wrong. I froze starring at the liquid as it slowly flowed from him.
