Instead of her usual welcome home greeting from her fiance, Kylie was greeted by her fiancé yelling.Kylie sighed and rolled her eyes. You haven't had time to spend with Kylie since your friends practically begged you to buy a console.
To Kylie it was continuously, 'Y/n let's play this', or 'if you do not play this with us we'll stop talking to you'.
Kylie was never fond of your friends. She saw how cunning they could be. She also knew how you never had many friends and did everything you could to keep the ones you did have.
Kylie walked upstairs, fully prepared to go unnoticed.
"Bro, I'm not going to give you any money, so stop asking." Kylie approached you while you sat in your gamer chair.
"Hey, babe, I'm back." Kylie kissed you on the cheek and waited for a response, but all she got was a small grunt. Kylie raised an eyebrow.
"I don't get any hey or anything." You had turned your microphone turned off, and turned to face Kylie. "Sorry, baby," you quickly peck her lips and resume your game.
Kylie sighed and sat down on the king-size bed, hoping that things would be different today.

You were still playing with the guys after about an hour or two. Kylie sensed your exhaustion.
She'd ask you to take a nap or a break, but all she'd get in return was a quiet 'It's okay.' Kylie was becoming agitated and concerned.
She was certain you hadn't eaten a proper meal all day, if not all week. She was too preoccupied with her modeling trips to check on you.
Kylie was leaning back on the headboard, texting your mother about her concerns about you and your recent behavior.
Your mother had been there for you through thick and thin. She knew when Kylie texted her about you not eating or paying attention to Kylie, it was because your body just shut down mentally once every couple of years for some reason.
When you were younger, you couldn't eat anything for weeks and couldn't hold a conversation with anyone without zoning out.
It all started with Arcelia's death. Arcelia and you were like sisters. You two couldn't do anything without each other, and everyone referred to you as the inseparables.
When your mother broke the news to you that she had been killed in a hit-and-run, you sat in your room for about a year, sobbing over the loss of your best friend.
According to your mother, your body appears to be incapable of functioning in the absence of Arcelia. You didn't say anything and ate very little for the entire year. To be honest, your body was present, but not your mind.
Kylie was told by your mother to give you some space until you were truly back. Kylie wished she could listen to your mother, but she couldn't because you hadn't even eaten in a week. She got out of bed and walked over to the television, and she stood in front of it.
Her eyes welled up with tears. "Talk to me, Y/n. You're really hurting my feelings." You frowned and gently pushed Kylie out of the way.
"Why are you being so mean? Is there something I did wrong?" You had an angry expression on your face.
Kylie looked at the screen, tears streaming down her cheeks, as she saw you go to your friend's name and hit delete and block on every single one, then exit the game and go to the bathroom.
Kylie didn't bother asking what happened because she knew she wouldn't get a response.
"Please stop ignoring me. It hurts just to talk to me. I miss you." Kylie's vision was blurred as she watched you take off your clothes and enter the shower, closing the door behind you.
Kylie stood there for a minute letting the silent tears run down her face. She then heard sniffles coming from the shower.
She wiped her tears and took the rest of her clothes off before walking to the shower door and silently opening the fogged-up glass door.
The sight in front of her caused an unbearable pang in her stomach. You were under the hot water, balling your eyes out.
Kylie approached you from behind and wrapped her arms around you. "I'm here, baby, and I promise everything will be fine."
"No! Everything will not be alright! I miss her! I'm Fucking! ...I miss her..." Kylie shed a few tears with you. She was aware of who you were referring to. Arcelia.
Kylie knew how much you loved her because you would always bring up special memories you had with Arcelia. Kylie supported you as you fell.
"I-I, I can't imagine my life without her... She was the sister I didn't have. I loved her...I love her WHY DID HE HAVE TO BE DRUNK ON THE ROAD? I'D STILL BE WITH HER IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT...for that man." Kylie had wrapped her arms around you to let you know she was there.
"I could still be here with her." You sobbed in Kylie's lap. "I can't do it without her... I can't." Kylie rested her head on your back.
"Yes, you can have a baby. We can attain this together. You and I. What will she think if you simply give up? She'd want you to get on with your life, baby. Keep in mind the happy memories you shared with her. Don't lock it away; instead, keep it and hold onto it. Can you do that for me, baby? For Arcelia's sake." You gave a weak nod of your head.
"I apologize for how I treated you. You deserve better." You bowed your head in shame.
"It's fine, baby. As long as you've learned from your mistakes and are prepared to correct them. Did you learn anything from them?" "Yes." Kylie smiled.
"That's all that matters. Do you want to stay like this and then wash, or do you want to wash now and go to bed?" "Can we continue in this manner?" Kylie smiled and kissed your shoulder.
"Whatever you want." They sat silently, listening to the sound of water splattering on the floor.
Sometimes we all need someone to help us through a Tough time.
