If we go down then we go down together
- Paris, Memories... Do Not Open

For the rebels, the dreamers, and the ones who love with their whole heart,
even when it's hard, even when it hurts.
To the friends who became family,
and the promises we made to stay by each other's side, come what may.And for the ones who remind us that if we go down, we go down together.

𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 was always the one people labelled as eccentric, though, in truth, she wasn't all that different from most. The biggest distinction? Emily liked girls, and she was more than okay with it.
The moment she realized her attraction to girls, she didn't react with surprise or disappointment. Instead, she simply shrugged, muttering to herself, "Well fine. Girls, it is, then." And just like that, the world kept spinning.
With her bold energy and fierce free spirit, Emily was usually the loudest in the room—unless, of course, she was deep in thought. Her personality was a beacon, her enthusiasm contagious, lighting up every space she entered. Armed with sharp, witty comebacks and an ever-changing array of the cutest hairstyles, she had a way of making sure no one ever felt left out. Sundays were her days for adventure, always shared with someone new, and when it came to teamwork, Emily made sure that everyone felt like they belonged.
With an aura that radiant, it was no surprise why Liam Wyatt fell in love with her.
𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐌 𝐖𝐘𝐀𝐓𝐓 was complex, but not as different from the rest as he believed. The hardest part for him was being in love with his best friend and knowing that he couldn't do anything about it. So he chose the next best thing: staying her best friend.
He tried—oh, how he tried—to cure himself of the "curse" of unrequited love. But no matter how much he rationalized, he couldn't shake the feelings. At least he learned a valuable lesson: acting on things is much harder than talking about them.
With his book-smart demeanor and those bright, attentive eyes, it made perfect sense that he was Emily's closest confidante, the 'Wonder Girl's' other half. As if that weren't enough, he was also the twin brother of Chris Wyatt, the guy who was the most popular both on and off campus. But people often missed the deeper layers of Liam.
He was more than just a best friend or Chris Wyatt's twin. He was a son, a boy trying desperately to be an adult because he felt like no one else was going to step up. He was kind, forgiving, and the type who would shoulder the blame or absorb the hurt if it meant lightening someone else's load.
Liam was just Liam, and despite the complications of unrequited love, he wouldn't change a single thing about who he was. But sometimes, in the quiet of his thoughts, he couldn't help but wonder what it would be like not to be in love with his best friend who liked girls.
