The wall began to crumble, the whirring sound becoming stronger. It sounded familiar to breakdowns audials. It sounded like knockouts drill! Thank lord Megatron!
Miko took a step back, but her muscles were weak, so she couldn't move that much.
"Miko, get behind me! Now!" Bulkhead yelled sternly. She followed his directions. "You know who that is breakdown?"
"Sounds like knockout."
Bulkhead glared at breakdown for a moment. Then turned his gaze towards the wall.
Which by now was being pushed roughly to the sides by knockout. He had gotten through. He struggled a little bit but continued to push away the rocks.
When he was finally done, he dusted himself of, scowling at the scrapes on his finish. But he when he looked up, he looked right past bulkheads glaring optics, and ran quickly to breakdowns side.
"You alright?" He pushed off the scrap that was on his partner. He'd been trapped underneath heavy rocks. Before breakdown could answer the first question. "Can you move? It seems your legs have been slightly crushed." That was sort of an understatement.
Breakdown tried to get up, yet even without the rocks on him, a pain still shot through him. He growled a little at it. He smiled sadly at knockouts concern for him. "Heh, I don't think so."
Dangit, knockout thought, how am I supposed to get him out of here, he can't move! He just sat there, thinking, worrying. He didn't have a clue what to do. What could he do.
"Argh!" Across the room, bulkhead struggled to hold the ceiling up, knockout hadn't even noticed.
Rewind time -
When Arcee had first gotten into the room, she immediately spotted bulkhead. He was holding the ceiling.
"Bulk! What happened?"
"Well, long story short, me and breakdown were fighting in an unstable cave, and brought it down. Thank the primes your okay though!"
The two humans coughed from the rise of dust that knockout caused. Jack spotted Miko and ran to her. She was leaning against bulkheads pede, looking extremely tired. But she smiled when she saw him.
"Sorry, I think all of this is my fault." She laughed sadly.
"Ha, only slightly. Don't run into a random cave again okay?"
"Alright alright." She grinned slightly.
Bulkheads arms groaned in pain. "Argh!" Everyone looked up at him. The red medics optics went wide. That makes everything so much worse, but at least bulkhead couldn't smash in breakdowns head when he was stuck.
He turned back to breakdown, "can you transform?"
Breakdown looked up at him, why hadn't he thought of that? He tried to transform, making the sound they all knew well. But something stopped him, a terrible pain, worse than the others, made him stop. "Ahhh!" He yelled, resisting the urge to slam his fist into the ground.
"Whoa! Don't hurt your self more! Stop!" Knockout yelled. Shifting away from breakdowns fists. "I - don't know what's wrong with you, we need to get back to the ship!" He pulled his hand up to his ear. "Starscream! . . . Soundwave!" More waiting. "MEGATRON! . . . CAN ANYONE HEAR ME! ARGH!" He was starting to panic, which wasn't unlike him, but he was concerned for breakdowns well being.
"Hey, hey! Knockout its okay." Breakdown spoke quietly and calmly, smiling up at him.
From the other side of the cave, the bots watched this all play out. Unsure of how to react. Breakdown was always tough, but he was speaking in such a low whisper no one could hear him. And knockout actually seemed concerned for something other than his paint job. It felt . . . Strange for them to watch them softly talking to eachother. As if they shouldn't be in the room, or they should fight them, even if that wasn't an option at the moment.
