Amphitrite had never been one to put up a fight. Not to her husband's affairs. Not to her restricted power. Not to anybody who had ever cared to cross her path.
But when an innocent soul was to be put to death for a crime they did not commit, she lost it.
"STOP IT!" Amphrite yelled. Her usually full - of - kindness eyes showed nothing but annoyance, and utter, pure, unmatchable anger now.
A man with a kind smile looked over at her, his eyes catching hers. The boy gave her one last scandalous look.
"Loving you is a crime I am proud to charge myself as guilty for."
