Chapter 2: Live Life Fear

"Megan, get your lazy ass up! Come on moms gonna be pissed if you get another tardy and get a detention!" Maney said waiting at the door for me.

"Shut up Maney! Moms gonna be pissed if she finds out you are swearing!" I said annoyed.

"Ya, 'if' she finds out." Maney said grinning.

I rushed down stairs and me and Maney started to walk to school. We lived a couple miles away from the school and it only took a half hour to walk so me and Maney took our bikes. Micheal went to elementary and Mom took him to school everyday. As we walked to school, I saw Neal. Neal was basically my dream boy. Sandy-blonde hair, light brown eyes, golden tan skin, sexy clothe style, and he didn't look trashy like most guys. He was also kind, sweet, really good around adults, fun, funny, EVERYTHING! But, my sister had him. My 6th grade sister was dating my 9th grade crush. I don't even know how she met him and made him like her. But I was jealous, really jealous. I was thinking to tell my mom, but she would freak out cause he is 4 years older than her... I always ask how she got him, but she doesn't tell me. Ugh... But, there is still another hottie. Jacob! He has brown hair, dark brown eyes, handsome tan skin, and also dresses nicely. He is kind and pretty good around adults, but he is a bad boy! Witch makes him hotter! My goal is to date him. I told Maney about how I want to date him, she said hopefully before I'm blind. I hate Maney joking about that, because it's a serious problem. I go to Mr.Kenneth every week for a kinda check-up so if anything changed he knows before it gets too serious. He says if I do go blind it will probably be when I'm 60-70 years old at the rate my eyes are getting worse. So I guess that's okay. He also said that there is a 65% chance I won't go blind at all and it's more than half so I feel okay about the situation. I haven't told anyone. Mom, Michael, Maney, and dad promised not to tell a sole. I don't want people thinking me more different than I already am. So I'm sucking it up.

It was at lunch now and I walked toward my people to sit down and enjoy the gross school lunch.

"Megan! Yes! Come on girl!" Grace said waving at me.

"Ha, ha! Hey grace! So, sup?" I said replying.

"Wow, you don't say hi to me?" David continued, "Bitch..." David faintly joked.

I stood my tongue out at David and took a bite of my apple.
"This is good." I said to myself.

Being around my friends made me forget all the bad things... It made me happy. But I had to tell them "The News" sometime... Just I don't know when.

"Is something up Megan? You seem kinda sad today?" Grace said as we walked on the sidewalk.

It was the end of the day and I was hoping to tell them "the news" but I just couldn't,

"Hope for tomorrow, I guess..." I said sadly to myself.

"Nothing grace. I'm very happy!" I said lying.

I was happy, but I was sad also. Happy to be around my friends, sad about my eyes and my condition, and sad about "the news" I very much had to tell my friends.

(The Next Day)

"Mom, I don't feel good." Micheal said as his buggers ran down his face from his nose.

"Sweet heart you can stay today but were going to the doctors tomorrow, so your going to school next week okay Hun?" Mom said setting down her things.

"Maney, Megan! Get your butts down here!" Mom said.

"What?" I said coming down the stairs.

Maney and me stood in front of mom as she started to say something.

"Aunt Jenny is going to babysit Michael today okay, it know how you two feel about her, she doesn't let you go on electronics or on the t.v. So, if you like you may go to your friends house. No boys! Okay? Love you! I gtg and aunt jenny will be here any minuet, stay here until she comes okay? Bye." Mom said as she walked out the door.

"Ugh! I hate Jenny! I'm going to Neal's house tonight!" Maney said grinning.

"NO! Mom said no boys and your not going to any boys house! Your to young to be in a bedroom with just you and your boyfriend!" I said angry.

"I'm to young to have a boyfriend, but I still have one!" Maney said walking out of the house.

"Where are you going?! Mom said to stay here until jenny comes!" I said yelling, but it was to late, Maney was already running down the sidewalk.

"We'll if she's gonna do bad stuff so will I..." I said to myself.

After school Maney came back and so did I.

"Neal is busy today." Maney said sadly.

"Sweat hearts! I'm going to help your father of his business trip for 3 weeks and Aunt
Jenny is ganna babysit okay? She knows I said you guys can spend the night at places and go on electronics so don't worry. I'm leaving tomorrow morning." Mom said existed as we ate at the dinner table.

"Dads on a business trip, now you are going too?" I said getting up and stomping off to my room.

My father, Richy, has been on his company business trip for 2 weeks and has 3 weeks left and mom decides to join him. Ugh. I wish they would spend more time with the hole family.

The next day I went to Grace's house and David came too.

"Okay, guys we have to talk." I said trying to talk to my friends.

David and grace were messing around and not listening to me. Ugh, at the time I get the guts to tell them "the news". Again and again they don't listen.

"GUYS SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN! THIS IS REALY DAMN IMPORTANT! I screamed.

They finally sat quietly and listened.

"Okay, I need to tell you some news, not good news..." I continued, "this is really hard for me to say...." I started sweeting and heavily breathing.

"Okay hears the point," I intently continued, "I-I'm, I'm moving to California."
