Again, Sedonia was passed out on her bed from drinking. All she had done the whole summer was drink, read books, do random online worksheets, and TV shows her age group wouldn't watch.

"Sedonia, wake up" Her brother shook her lightly

No response.

"Wake up!" He shook her harder
"I'm up" She groaned holding her head
"Your boyfriend is calling you" He teased
"Huh?" Sedonia yawned

"Take a shower" Dane said before leaving
"Mhm" I turned off the light

I then heard my push button phone ring.

Hello
Hey, it's Jordan. Can you come help us at Beverly
Ah, see I would but we got a new student at Westlake and the Kohler's gotta tour
How could you forget all the times we've spent together
Whatever, drama queen. I'll be over in a second
Ok, bye

With that I sat the phone down and hopped in the shower. When I got out I quickly slipped on some dark green jeggings with a black Aaliyah shirt from my mom's old clothes.

I did my skin care routine and put some lipgloss on. I kept my hair in the same style and I left with black Jordan's on to complement the gold jewelry I had on.

"Hey!" I smiled walking inside the school
"Gasp, traitor to your own kind" JJ joked
"Mhm, funny" I chuckled
"You good?" JJ looked at me
"Yeah" I said lying

"Ok, well this is Chris, Chris this is Sedonia Kohler" Spencer introduced me
"Nice to meet you" I smiled
"Nice to meet you too pretty girl" He winked
"Hey, Nini" Olivia hugged me

"Hey" I hugged her tightly
"Ou, where'd you get that shirt?!" She said excitedly
"Parent's old clothes. All are welcome" I chuckled
"I'll be over to shop later girl" She giggled before going back to paint

My cellphone rang making me look down. Simone was having the baby.

"What's wrong?" Spencer asked
"Simone's having the baby" I gave small smiled then picking up my phone to call Dane

Dane!
What
Simone's having the baby you coming?
For the last and final time that damn baby isn't mine. Bye
Screw you

"Jordan, Simone's having the baby" I told him. He came running instantly

As soon as we entered the room Jordan began pacing a hole in the floor. Simone's dad then signaled that we could come inside.

"He's adorable. He looks like you" Jordan looked at the baby
"What's his name?" I asked a bit tired
"Shay, Shay Kohler. Not from Dane but from you" She smiled at me
"Oh, cute" I then passed out

The last thing I heard was Jordan's voice in panic and a gasp from Simone.

By time I regained consciousness Jordan was on my side.

"What happened?" I held my head
"Your fine just, uh dehydrated" Billy said from the door
"Hi, Mr. Baker" I sipped a bottle of water Simone gave me
"Hey, Sedonia. Do you need me to call your parents?" He soothed

"No, it's fine" I panicked
"Ok, ok" He walked away
"So, the baby" I sat up weakly
"Hey, take it easy" Jordan said after he calmed himself

"I'm fine" I assured standing up
"Where are you going?" Simone asked
"Home" I said in a duh tone then left before any further questions were asked

Before heading home I stopped at a cafe where I saw Spencer talking to some guy.

"So the rumors are true. You transferred to Westlake" I heard Spencer say
"Westlake? No, way I go there. Sup, Spence who's this?" I asked him

"Cam, he used to go to Crenshaw but now he going to Westlake. You bailed on yo team when they needed you most" Spencer voiced

"Kinda like you, huh?" Cam teased
"Nah, that's different" Spencer stayed calm

"I'm gonna go before my principal shows up and labels this as me being part of gang violence. That could mess up my perfect record" I left

I was now sitting at home and cleaning my room. I had finished and got a call from Simone.

I drove to the hospital where she and her dad sat in the room with her mother on the outside.

"I'm here, what's up" I panted
"I just needed company other than my parents" She was avoiding something
"She kicked Jordan out" Her dad whispered

"Seriously, he's one of the only people helping with Shay" I groaned at her choice
"I want Shay to have his real dad" She whined

Jordan then called my cell. I declined

"You're one to talk" Simone rolled her eyes
"What?! These are his last few days of summer and he should have fun with his boys" I defended while blushing a bit

"Dad tell her she's in neglect" My best friend flopped back onto the hospital bed
"I'm not in neglect" I scoffed
"Whatever" She chuckled

"You are, I haven't seen much of how you and Jordan act but the way he panicked when you passed out could make anyone think y'all have known each other for life. It makes your excuse sound stupid" Mr. Hicks told me

"I mean he's cute and a total dork" I covered my smile
"There it is. The spark is there" Mr. Hicks chuckled then leaving the room

"Also, you heard from a friend of a friend that dick is a 10 our of 10. I'm the friend if it wasn't obvious" Simone whispered
"Simone!" I gasped
"What? I didn't do anything" She held up her hands
"Girl" I laughed on my way to go home

Time: 2:00 am

I had just finished a can of beer and a case of Mai Tai's which is weirdly addicting.

When I threw it away I noticed my trash can was full. I tied the bag and we t outside to throw it away. When entering the house I tripped over Dane's football stuff and knocked over a vase.

"Damn it" I stared at the broke glass

I swept up the glass and it took me a moment to realize what I'd just done.

Not the broken vase.

The fact that I'd just noticed the blood and cuts on my hands and knees from falling on the glass.

I went to the kitchen and washed everything off. I noticed a knife on the counter.

I slowly reached for it and once it was in my grasp I was about to cut myself until I heard Dane shout my name.

"Nini!" He shouted
"What?" I dropped the knife
"What happened to the vase" I motioned towards the broken vase
"I tripped over your football crap" I rolled my eyes

I quickly washed the blood and stuff off and bandaged myself before returning to my room.

What'd happening to me? I don't wanna do this so why am I.
