Zara was flying through the woods. She had a job to do; find and retrieve a rare Harebell flower. This particular flower is very long and can vary in colour from pale-purple to pale blue-green. The flower can be used for for many common faerie ailments.

One such ailment is wing disease, a slow-acting disease in which a faerie's wings will start to mold over and fall off. Zara had wing disease but was very lucky. She was only in stage one of the disease. Her wings will only mold on the sides, so she wouldn't have to worry about losing her wings, Yet!

Since Zara had such disease her flying was slow and uneven. She felt like she was falling actually more than flying. "Finish the job, do nothing more," Zara reminded herself. She didn't think she could stay up and flying much longer. Straining to stay up and flying, she started falling towards the ground. She fell and blood started pooling out her legs at an alarming rate.

A wolf howl suddenly rose from behind her; quick paw steps followed suit. Zara scurried desperately to her feet and starting rushing away as fast as her injured feet would take her. Quickly the paw steps increased. Whatever was chasing her was getting closer. She tried to run faster but her legs gave out and she collapsed to the ground. There she came face to face with a demon, more commonly known as a wolf.

"Please Mr. Wolf!! Don't eat me! I am not tasty at all." Zara pleaded.

The wolf scowled at her. "I am not a boy, I am a mighty woman. I fight, hunt, and protect my clan." The wolf said.

"Pardon my stupidity ma'am." Zara apologized meekly.

The colour had been completely drained from Zara's face. The wolf couldn feel her fear; she was ready to eat off of it, to only further scare Zara. "Do not apologize to your killer you puny faerie!"

"Who are you?" Zara asked wonderingly.

"I am Kel; I am your worst nightmare. I will be the cause of your demise. You are nothing but a weak, helpless, puny little faerie!" Kel said with a mask of supremacy and betterness in her voice. The way she'd said that really only further scared Zara. Zara hoped to keep her life not lose it!

"Please do not harm me. Kel ye are better than this, I see it in your eyes." Zara said in a sweet, calm, cool tone.  Kel loosened her grip she had upon Zara. Hopefully Zara had reached through to Kel as she had hoped. There was a sort of heartfelt and sad look on Kel's face; a sing Zara had desperately been searching for.

"I am not better than this. I kill because I have to do so to survive. I was born a killer." Kel explained harshly.

"Well, Kel I believe I can help ye." Zara said calmly.

For a moment Kel was shcoked. No one had ever offered to help her before. Silence rang out for a moment as Kel thought the offer out. Suddenly a wolf howl broke through the silence and Kel scurried off in a hurry.

"That Kel is Mysterious." Zara said as she slowly got up and limped home ready for any punishment she would be given. After all she had not completed the job she was given.
