Chapter 2
Irene Allejo was a 34 year old independent woman and single since birth ( no one really tried to court her).
She planned to have a high paying job and be married at age 26 but she's 34 now and the second on her life plan list was nowhere near her reach.
After waiting for years for a man to sweep her off her feet, she finally lost all her patience and decided to give up on love and dedicate her life to work instead.
" Who needs a husband? Who cares about annoying kids? So what if I don't have one, I don't need one anyway!" thought Irene.
Irene was a senior corporate officer at a big company. Her life mostly revolved around work. In fact, her only motivation to keep on waking up was to work and earn money.
One day, she went to work with a high fever but despite that she did what she always do and worked her body to its limits. The result was obvious; she collapsed at her office. That's why her boss gave her a one week vacation.
Irene didn't have any friends that she could hangout with and no family to visit. She didn't have anything better to do so she decided to spend the whole week laying on the couch with a good book in hand.
And she did lay on the couch all day, all week long with a book in hand but the thing was the book wasn't good or average, it was bad!
Like really bad. Irene couldn't count how many times she cringed from the character's cheesy lines that probably came from a 1 star romcom movie and inserted to an action fantasy novel. The thought of dropping the book crossed her mind and she did drop it at some point. She did other things like cooking and sewing but after almost burning down the whole building, and stabbing her finger for the hundredth time, she immediately went back to the book.
" Okay..." Irene absentmindedly mumbled as she laid on the green colored couch with her mind flying somewhere.
" I can't believe I finished it."
The Legend of Yale — was a story about Yale the Prince of Zaldua and his journey towards revenge and being the most powerful human shitbag that walked the equally shitty planet. His power rivaling of that of a god.
The story started with the still powerless and naive Prince Yale enrolled in the school of knighthood to learn how to kick asses but it turned out that his ass was the one kicked by the red-headed villain, Genesis.
Genesis was a cunning and brilliant fighter who knew how to use what she have in order to gain what she wants. The prince, amazed by Genesis's skills offered friendship which was a bad move because Genesis used that friendship in order to gain information about the kingdom and with her blessing ( the general name for their powers) she managed to manipulate the king into adopting her and making her part of his heir to the throne.
After Genesis was officially adopted, a war broke out at the borders of the kingdom. To avoid suspicion, Genesis volunteered to go to the border to stop the war but the valiant protagonist offered to go instead in which Genesis accepted with an invisible smirk on her face.
The prince went and Genesis killed him there then after that she also killed the King. With the prince out of the way and with the use of her blessing, Genesis became the ruler of Zaldua and her journey of building an empire commenced.
Everything was going according to her plan or so she thought because it turned out that the prince wasn't really dead...
// insert surprise pikachu face//Yes, the prince was stabbed on the chest, lost litters of blood, and was left on the dirty woods to die but he still fucking survived, Wow!
Then blah blah blah yada yada, long story short a warrior helped the prince and trained him, then the prince gained a super op powers by climbing a mountain that no one can climb, except of course for the prince. Why? Because he was the damn protagonist that's why.
