Ring Pop Marriage (Marcanne)

   Marcy and Anne were at the park playing In the dirt. Anne getting a little bored asked, "hey Marcy do you have any toys."
  Marcy looked at Anne and then looked down confused, "I don't know let me check my pockets." Marcy then reaches down into the pocket of her overalls, "oh I got something." She then pulled out a ring pop and said "oh it's just a Ring Pop."
  Anne laughed and said "oh my mom said something about when you like someone and you want to spend your whole life with them you give them a ring,"
  "oh okay," Marcy said and handed Anne the Ring Pop.
   Anne looked at the Ring Pop in confusion, "wait you want to spend your whole life with me?"
  "Yeah that's what bffs are for," Marcy said.
   "Awww thanks," Anne said, then she took the ring pop and hugged Marcy "you're welcome," Marcy laughed out.
   8 years later in the same park, Anne and Marcy sat on a bench, Marcy talking about sweet nonsense; absolutely nothing and everything at the same time.
   Anne's brain began to wonder and she started to think about the time they had spent at the park and she remembered the time that Marcy gave her a ring pop. She thought that was what "bffs" did, thinking about how cute and silly it was she began laughing just thinking about it.
   Marcy's head popped up and she looked at Anne in confusion, hearing Anne laugh made Marcy laugh.
   When Marcy finally stopped laughing she asked "why are you laughing?" Anne replied, "remember when you gave me a ring pop because we thought it was what best friends did?"
  "Oooh yeah of course I remember that and don't forget that I also wanted to spend the rest of my life with you," she blurted out.
   When she realized what she said she looked at Anne with a flustered face. Anne laughed nervously and said, "oh I guess forgot huh,"
  Anne trying to at least slightly change the subject said "which do you think is better real rings or Ring pops?"
   "Maybe real rings I don't like Ring pops I don't know, wait I know, edible rings but not a ring pop like maybe a gummy one," Marcy said and then begin laughing.
   Anne smiled and said "okay I think I can remember that," Anne said confidently. "wait what did you just say? "Marcy asked confusingly
  "Oh oh, nothing just forget about it," Anne said nervously, "well what kind of rings do you like Anna banana?" Marcy asked with a sweet smile Anne blushed and put her hand on the back of her head. "You know I just like Ring pops like always haha," Anne said very very nervously.
  "Okay that should be easy," Marcy said, "what do you mean Mar-Mar?" Asked Anne the tomato "oh nothing don't think about it, anyway on an unrelated note would you like this Ring Pop for totally no reason other than you know that you like them so you know I totally don't want to be your girlfriend or nothing that's not a part of this or anything why am I still talking?"
   Marcy looked at Anne flustered "wait Marbles you really want to be my girlfriend?" Anne asked nervously.
  "Yes, no maaaybe.....yeah I really do." Marcy said Anne smiled the biggest smile you could ever see and gave Marcy a bear hug, Marcy hugged Anne back and asked "So does this mean we're dating?"
  "Yes, I would love too I mean if that's what you want." Anne replied, "yes, I'd love that," Marcy said back with a smile "I love you Anna banana."
  "I love you too Mar mar."

   This story was made by my friend who doesn't want to be named so we'll call them Ghost. I wanted them to write a story and this is what they wrote. They don't write as much as me so it might not be the best, but they're very proud of this story.
