Light changes school

Bringg! Bringg!
Ugh I have to go to a new school today and I heard that we were going to have dorm rooms. I wonder who my roommate is gonna be I hope they are nice. Ok now I gotta get to school. Don't wanna be late on the first day.

Light got dressed and drove to school. As soon as he arrived the bell rang so he rushed to his English class.

               ***Charli pov***
A cute boy just came running in the class. I don't recognize him, guess he is new. Mrs. Jones asked him to introduce himself and he said his name was light, light what a cute name. No Charli you can't be falling for someone that you don't even know we'll snap out of it. I shook my head and began to focus but then something amazing but horrible took place. Mrs. Jones told light to sit next to me could something worse happens at this point and guess what something worse did happen she asked me to show him around the school during break! Why me God why what have I done to have this horrid punishment.

                  ***Light pov***
As soon as I walked in the class all the attention was put on me which made me feel sick I hated attention. The teacher asked me to introduce myself so I did and she said her name is Mrs. Jones. She asked me to sit next to a girl named Charli, pointed to her and asked Charli if she would show me around the school. I went to sit and when I had a good look at her I realized just how beautiful she was. She properly introduced herself and asked if she could see my class schedule so I pulled it out of my bag and handed it to her. When she looked at it she looked shocked. I called her and waved my hand in her face but when I tapped her she finally responded "what's wrong?" I asked and she said " we have the exact same schedule! This is weird" when I heard I felt soo happy. Do I like her. No... Maybe ...  I mean who can blame me she IS  adorable AND she seams kind. Wait what an I saying. "Light" Charli called. Ye yeah" I responded. "I was about to call the doctor cause you weren't responding I was really worried you know."

Brrrrringggg!
  "That's the bell, let's start with the library!" Charli exclaimed Light looked confused but then Charli explained that she ment the tour and that made light blush. They ended the tour at the cafeteria and bought some food. Charli then introduced Light to her friends. There was five more minutes left for break and Charli wanted to speak to Light alone. They both seamed nervous and were blushing madly. After a long moment of silence Charli finally spike up and said "Light as soon as I laid my eyes on you I had a crush on you... I I I like you Light!" When Charli was done speaking Light was speechless he liked her too of course but he didn't expect this it was just so so unexpected Light then opened his mouth and tried to say " Charli I like you too will you go out with me" but instead this is what he said "uh.. Ch Charli I I don't th think it's a a good idea"

                 *** Charli pov***
" Yeah! Light it was a prank I agree with you totally! Let's get to class we don't wanna be late" l barely said. I can't believe that that just happened OMG I mean what did I expect we just met. Well now I'm stuck with this embarrassment forever. We walked to class but this time thank God the teacher put us apart. I was barely keeping it together so I asked if I could be excused and walked to the toilet crying. I texted Alex  to come to the toilet and she  wasted no time coming and consoled me. She is a such good friend. But I didn't lose my feelings for him so I started simping over him.
Bringggg! Bringggggg!
The bell rang and the principal was talking over the speakers and said  that we should all meet in the hall to assign room mates.
I hope I get Alex  🤞.
