shahid hussainAoasalam-o-alikum welcome to the first episode of yari Raha gi jari, if you don't know what that means then let me tell you that it means 'friendship will continue'
The chapters are long, so sit back relax and read away. Oh, and each chapter will comprise of two or three parts since I have to work with everyone's pov...those of you who don't know pov means point of view...but I'm pretty sure you already know that.
3rd person's P.O.V:
The first day of class eighth......
Today was the first day of the new year, which means new admits...hifza, khansa, khizran, Khadija, and abeera. The whole class was partitioned into several groups. One of which was a tiny group of five that included 'Ayesha, Amna, asma, Bisma and hadia'
1) hifza's p.o.v:
First day of school...I should be nervous wait why would I be nervous? It's just school...who am I kidding I'm freaking out? What if I don't make a good impression, what if the kids here are smarter than I am? Which won't be a shocker though!
All the way I had been giving myself a whole lot of pep-talk. 'Don't fuse this up, hifza, act coo, Ya hear' I told myself.
After dropping my younger sister 'Ayesha's at her school which was a whole different branch of the school, our van stopped at the school gate where I saw a middle-aged man, patrolling the school. He had a long black beard and wore the traditional 'shalwar-Qameez' he'd go by the name 'sharif'. I walk into the building 'bismillah' I utter as I take the first step in.
There was a huge foyer that was the alley for many other rooms on the sides. I saw many women there I assumed them to be the teachers, they look nice I just hope I can fit up to their measure.
Then I walked up the stairs and strolled to my class, the eighth red. I chose to sit on the first desk. The desks were too low though the bench was a bit cramped, strange I'm new here but there is no one asking me questions like 'which school are you from? Or why did you come here?' does no one here have curiosity? I sat in the middle row, on my left was row B, where I saw a fashionable girl, wow seriously. By the looks of it she doesn't look sharp, 'nikami' as I would say. Next to her was another girl, well at first glance she looked like a little kid, what is she doing in class 8th?Her mischievous smiles and the glint in her eyes she did look like she wanted to eat me. Ya Rabb Help me!
I, later on, learned her name is Ayesha, and the nikami fashionable girl she's Bisma.
Khansa's pov:
I was nervous as in like really really nervous. First day of school!! I couldn't even sleep last night, I was the first one to wake up for fajr too...
? I just hope I make it to school in time, well considering I'm a bit early I think I will. But of course, my dear sister hamna has to draw us late now, doesn't she?"Hamna Bahir ai bhi jao na," [hamna come out already] I thumped on the door of the bathroom. "Atti hun na...[coming] beauty takes time you know," she said. 'Pfft beauty'
Finally, she came out of the bathroom. "Took you long enough," I say. "Come on let's go to school" I proceeded, tugging my hand into her and pulling her with me. She hauled making me stop with her. "Api...we're like an hour early..." she says. 'Just an hour' "so what...I want to go now...let's go already," I say, "Well 'api' I don't want to go to school this early," she said.
"We will, hamna" I talked on top of her.
"We will not...at least not this early" she objected.
"I'm your older sister and I say we go now"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Cut it out you two...." our mother came into the scene, making us stop our bicker.
"She started it..." hamna pointed at me.
"Mama tell hamna we should leave now," I said, innocently. "Khansa what will you do at school right now? Hamna is right at this" my mother said, leaving my mouth open. "Ha-ha I told you..." she laughed at me.An hour later
I and my sister walk into the school where we found a bunch of teachers. "Aoasalam-o-alikum ma'ams" I greeted the teachers and walked up the stairs.
I walk into my class I wasn't the first one here, I could have been but my darling sister.....
I got a seat at the second last bench....the class seems nice though I don't know about the girls? But there were some girls, one of which was this 'Golu-molu' type-of girl she had red and yellow glasses that's the only thing that's making me remember her, she's also a new admit.
One of the other new admits was this ' incredibly optimistic' girl. Her name is Khadija
First period
Urdu was our very first period taken none other than by madam Shazia. "Aoasalam-o-alikum mam, have a nice day" we all stood up to greet the teacher "walikum salam" she retortedWe started our syllabus with the first chapter, 'hijrat-e-Nabwi' I found that chapter quite interesting especially because it's about The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w)
Soon after the period ends and the second period I.e English starts which is taken by madam Sultana
3) Ayesha's pov:
"Ayesha utho bhi" [wake up]
I woke up by my mother's sound. I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed, hey today is the first of school, isn't it? Wait-today is the first day of school...
I galloped to the bathroom and in about five minutes came out all dressed and ready, and by ready I mean I still had my toothbrush in my mouth and my hair completely messed up but yeah I'm ready."Uff ayesha you'll never grow up" my mother said, laughingly. I saw Fatima snickering behind mama. "Who are you laughing at, Lil sis?" I asked.
"Who does it look like?" she countered, laughingly. "Tumhain to ma patati hun na..." I said in a minatory manner. "Acha acha bas....ayesha go and rinse your mouth....Fatima comb your hair darling" our mother said.
I can't wait to meet my friends, Asma, Amna, hadia, and not to forget about my bestie biscuit (Bisma's nickname). I think we'll also have new admits to school. They'll probably just blend in with the other kids besides us.
"Ayesha api! The van's here" my sister proclaimed. I and she hurried down and took off.
After a while or two we made it to my school.
Blah, blah, blah let's get to the good part
New kids, I see. There's one sitting on the first bench, wayy to be a honker, new girl. She looked fierce to me, not to mention her looks and she kept on asking questions again and again. 'Mam this, and mam that' does she have a stop button. Uff I later learned that she's hifza.
The rest of the girls weren't so bad. A bit shy though, I had trouble remembering her name.
The first period went by fast, English was our second period.
It was Interesting how she taught us! The first chapter was the 'savior of mankind' regarding Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w)'s life. May Allah's peace and blessings be on Him.
