Ayato Aishi (POV)So close... Why... I was so damn close!
I panted and sighed out of frustration. The feeling of hope kindled away because of how many I times I repeated and repeated. I thought I could finally be with her but no matter what route I take, its meaningless. My body has no longer the will to try nor move a single inch in this void.

How many times have I appeared in this void. How many times have I cried in this void. It's never ending of how many times I repeated like the endless void itself.

My eyes no longer have the will to cry. My mouth no longer wants to scream. My body can no longer move as the screen taunt me. 

Heartbroken. How many times have I seen that sign before?

My hands won't move as I see the restart button in front my eyes. I'm too tired and tried so much. The goal I had in mind. The memory that kept me going replays in my mind, but it gave me nothing but false hope.

"Ma, what's love?" I asked. I was told I was a special kid as I asked this question to my mother. I was nothing but innocent before I started all of this.

"Love?" She paused as she sat down. "Love. Love gives you all the emotions you wanted to feel. Happiness, anger, and sadness. But, only a special someone can give you love."
