New Places

After all the struggle at the motel and uncomfortable mattresses to sleep on, it was time to hop in the truck and say goodbye and say hello to freedom.

Packing all your stuff and putting it in the truck you walked over to the check in office and returned the key. "Goodbye ma'am have a nice day!" The motel guy said with a happy smile and attitude.

Leaving the motel you couldn't help but daydream and imagine what college is going to be like with a new group of people and probably your future husband but most likely not.

Coming back to reality you realized you were already in New Jersey. You drove around looking at the new places and smiling faces then you saw it how beautiful the college was. A huge smile on your face with excitement and joy knowing that you'd enjoy this place.

"Princeton University.. Eh?" You mumbled to yourself driving into the parking lot of the dorms. Getting out of the truck and decided to walk around seeing all the people sign up for clubs.

"Hey! You look fast wanna join the track club!" A tall man with a mustache said

"Ummm.. No thanks." You said quickly walking away and into the admission office and sign up for a dorm with your college advisor.

He walked you to the dorms they were all full and he was lucky enough to find you one in time. "Here you are Ms. (Y/N)" He said opening the door to a large but cozy dorm for all your stuff.

All the dorms were full with roommates and there was one empty dorm all to yourself to be in. "Thank you!" You said smiling and walking into the empty room.

"You're welcome, let me know if you need anything else. If you need me I'll be in the library just ask for Mr. Anderson." Mr. Anderson said walking away.

A few minutes passed and you started gathering stuff from the truck and into your dorm. You opened the door and tried to push in your mattress through the door.

As you struggled with the bed a man with a cigarette in his mouth watched. "Need some help?" He said with a smirk looking at you fail miserably.

You ignored him and rolled your eyes, "I don't know what do you think." You said kicking it in and watched it drop in the floor. He looked surprised that you actually managed to get it in the dorm.

You smirked at him and walked in the dorm closing the door behind you looking at all the empty boxes you yawned and fell asleep on the mattress.
