As everyone knows, 107 years ago...

...The entire human race, save for us...

...Were devoured by the titans...

Following that our ancestors constructed mighty walls that the titans couldn't get over...

That is, until five years ago...

"I'm sure many of you were present there... five years ago when tragedy struck again" the commander started.

*flash back to that day*

Eren stared at the tall titan, watching as steam was released from its lip-less mouth. Armin, Eren and Mikasa simply stared at the titan. They were still processing what exactly happened.

Eren finally spoke up when he noticed the titan moving, " It's moving! Even the biggest titans are less than fifteen meters tall! For its head to stick out over a 50 meter wall..!" he exclaimed. "No way..." Armin said in disbelief.

The titan lifted its leg and smashed the gates of wall Maria. Debris immediately started flying every which way, Eren had started ducking from the debris that flew his way as Mikasa and Armin did the same.

By the time the trio had looked back to the wall, the titan had disappeared leaving a hole in the wall as a reminder it was here. They looked in awe at the hole that was now in the wall. "It made a hole in the wall?!" Eren said absolutely flabbergasted. The civilians near them had noticed that titans had started pouring into the city and immediately started fleeing for dear life.

"Both of you, run! We have to get out of here!" Armin shouted, running in the direction the crowd was running towards. Eren, having different plans, started running in the opposite direction. Mikasa, who noticed Eren running, chased after him. "Mikasa!" Armin shouted, drawing out his hand to try and grab her but she had gotten far. Armin drew back his hand that was now quivering in fear, he panted as he watched Eren and Mikasa run off.

There's no way my house was hit!

I'm sure she's already escaped...

When I turn round that corner my house will be there...

...Just like always!
