A strange sense

Mei's P.O.V

I hugged him for a while until I realised he had actually killed people yet I felt a strange feeling of comfort and calmness. It was strange. No tenseness or fear just comfort and when i felt his arms wrap back around me the feeling just got stronger.

Eventually after a long minute of sobbing I came to my senses and realised I was hugging Jamison Fawkes. I let go and stepped back. "Sorry.." i said kinda embarrassed by what i just did. "Hehe, no problem Sheila! I get if ya don't wanna do boba anymore! There's always another day!" He said in a calm tone that sounded like it almost had a hint of sadness. "I-it's ok Jamison I'll go with you" I said cracking a small smile at him.
"Hehehe! Great" He exclaimed with that classic shit eating grin of his. He grabbed me by my hand practically lifting me off the ground before running off.

We did the same as yesterday day just speaking as one does but then an awkward conversation -for me not for him-  came up.

"So how's life Jamison?
"Eh it's ok but some weird fuckin' Overwatch people have been on me and me mate's asses for the last year or two that gets on me nerves."
He moaned sounded quite pissy "o-oh that sounds horrible" I mumbled. "How calm then Jamison?" I tried to at least sound semi convincing. "Well Sheila ya see I'm certain not a saint to say the least. Im not exactly a legal person in some places." He said nervously scratching the back of his head. "O-oh I knew you looked familiar" I blurted. "Junkrat right? Your known a lot in my area" I lied.
"Y-yea I hope that making anything awkward." He chuckled "It's fine! Despite your criminal record you seem really nice." This time I wasn't lying I really meant that he was genuinely a nice guy. "Yea to be honest I try to at least semi normal when not on the job" he laughed.

So yea that happened..
But after that we had a nice little conversation and we even exchanged phone numbers! I forgot that i was even on a mission! He just has that charm to him.
