The warm sunny air shined brightly against her skin. She opened up her eyes and stretched her arms. She is a fourteen year old girl named Eimi. Her shiny brown hair shined bright in the sunlight. Her eyes are red and brown mixed together like the hot coal in the fire.

"Wake up, sleepy head!" a cheerful voiced spoke. "What are you doing sleeping in this late?"

It was her friend, Giulia. Giulia is a cheerful young girl who lived with her father. She's thirteen years old and she was ready to deliver some goods for the upcoming Portorosso Cup race. Eimi stretched her arms and rubbed her eyes. "Sorry. I overslept."

"Well, come on then," Giulia insisted. "We have to get those deliveries done for the cup soon."

"Oh, yeah, of course," the young girl said, lifting herself up from the bed.

Eimi got back up and started to get dressed. Eimi is wearing a lovely sailor maiden's dress and has her lovely cap. She went downstairs and followed Giulia outside. She motions Eimi to get on her bicycle. There were two seats and it was attached with a cart of fish. Her father had been fishing down by the port. She got onto the seat and they started to ride all the way down to the main street.

The Main street was bustling with activity. Many people are doing some fun things during the summer. Everyone was playing some ball, playing cards, eating some ice cream, talking to each other and playing in the water. Eimi loves that time of year. The sunny days seem bright for her to play in. Giulia started selling some fish to some of the neighbors as she placed their money in the bag for the Portorosso Cup. On their way, they heard somebody tormenting someone. Giulia stopped the bike and looked up.

"Oh no. Ercole!" Giulia gasped.

Eimi looked over and saw him. Ercole Visconti. What a nasty name. He was the town bully of the Port. He was a champion who won the Portorosso cup so many times. He had his companions Ciccio and Guido. And he was tormenting two boys.

"We got to do something," Eimi cried.

Giulia sprung into action and barrel though and Ercole jumped out of the way releasing the boy.

"Hey! Ercole, basta!" she shouted.

"Oh, look who's here. Spewlia," Ercole said. "Ha ha ha. Wow. That's how you're training for the race?"

"Si cierro! Your reign of terror is coming to an end!" Giulia said, whose name was most certainly not Spwelia.

" 'Coming to an end.' You mean like a year ago?" Ercole asked. "When you quit in the middle of the race? Because you couldn't stop *gags* throwing up?"

"I didn't quit," Giulia frowned. "They made me stop."

Ercole smirked. "I think that is worse. Now, go away. I'm having fun with my new friends."

"They're coming with us." Giulia replied. She turned to the boys. "Hop on. We could use the extra weight."

The boys hesitated and begin to hop onto the car as Giulia pedals away. Eimi faced Ercole, stuck out her tongue and unleashed a raspberry.

"Fine. Go start a club. For losers!" Ercole shouted at her.

Meanwhile, the adults were ignoring Ercole completely. There was something else going on.

"Maggiore! Another sighting. In the harbor, this time," the fisherman Giacomo said, walking with a police officer with a monsters wanted paper in her hands.

"I know," Maggiore replied. "We are setting up a reward. Someone's gonna win a nice prize."

"Me! Me! I win the prizes," Ercole shouted, jumping in place. "Ciccio! Get your daddy's harpoon! We're gonna catch a sea monster."
