Once upon a time in L.A

Prologue

My name is Joanna Swan I'm from London, I'm 22 years old, and I actually just graduated from college and I decided that I will go to L.A to find a new job there and live a new life all alone. I took some courses to be a makeup artist and I actually was so good at it that's why I'm leaving to L.A, because I would be able to work as the only thing I love to do. My best friend Holly, was already living there with her boyfriend Mena, he is a famous actor and she actually did a couple of movies with him (he is Mena Massoud who played Aladdin a couple of years ago) when I asked her if I could stay with her until I buy my own apartment, she directly agreed and also living with my best friend for a little is better than living all by own at first.

I was staying with my mum and my little sister, my dad passed away when I was 14, he had a terrible car accident and my mother hasn't even thought about getting married again, we were all living together in peace, I love them so much they are the most important thing to me, and moving to L.A was hard for them but we decided that each month either I will come back to visit or the opposite.

I'm actually leaving next Friday which is in three days, so I tried to spend as much time as I can with my family because I will be leaving them for about two months, I know I said that we will visit each month but I have to be settled first so will not meet for 2 to 3 months, it hurts to know that you're leaving your family but I was looking for a better future.
