Chapter six

Next morning

BEE-

I turned of the alarm quickly before it wakes Holly up, I grabbed my phone and texted Tom that I'm awake so he could get ready, I went to the bathroom and changed into a simple and cozy outfit and then I went down and waited for Tom In the lobby after about ten minutes he came

"Good morning" I said with a smile

"Good morning darling" he said, I like that nickname, I know he literally tells everyone that but it feels different to hear it from him

"Let's go?" I asked

"Yeah" we started walking towards his car, he opened the door for me, I thanked him and sat in my place

"We still have time, do you want to go and have breakfast first?" He asked

"Yeah sure" I answered, he smiled without taking his eyes off the road, his jaw was sharp and he had a soft smile on his lips, then he looked at me, I turned away quickly, and I heard him chuckle, he then pulled up in front of a little café

"That's on of my favourites I hope you'll like it" he said as he got out and came to me and opened my door

"You don't have to do that" I said as I got out

"You're in my car so I get to do it" he said and we entered

"Thank you" I said

"Don't thank me darling" he said and we sat on a little table that was in the corner, Tom raised his hand so the waiter could see him, after 5 mins the waiter came

"What can I- oh Mr Holland how are you?" The waiter said with a smile

"I'm great thanks, see what the lady wants first" Tom said and it made me blush

"I'll have the turkey and cheese sandwich with fries and a cup of tea please" I gave my order

"Got that" he said and looked at Tom

"I'll have my every time order" Tom said

"The cheese croissant and tea?" The waiter said

"Yup"

"Okay" he smiled and walked away

"So what do you think of this cafe?" Tom asked me

"It's cozy" I said with a smile

"It's one of my favourite places I like to go to when I'm here in Atlanta" he said

"I can see that" I said and he chuckled

"We can come here everyday if you want" he said looking directly in my eyes

"Y-yeah maybe w-we can" I shuttered

"Are you okay Jo is there something wrong?" He asked and moved closer until we were inches apart

"No I'm fine" I said quickly as my breath started to get heavier

"Are you sure?" He asked and moved in again, and now our lips are almost touching, before I could say anything the waiter came with our food

"Here you go!" He placed the food in Front of us

"Thank you so much Garret" Tom said and the waiter walked away, we then started eating, we talked and laughed like nothing hapened, maybe I was overacting and it was really nothing, but I don't know he was so close to my face that we were almost kissing, but did it really mean nothing for him? I stopped thinking and I enjoyed the moment with him, I do really like to spend time with Tom even if I have feeling for him he will always be one of my closest friends.
