The castle that withheld The House of Reiss was always alive. Princesses and Princes of all ages running around the castle. Except for Historia Reiss, of course. Nobody could possibly know about the Illegitimate child. Kept locked away in a tower of the castle for most of the time. Nobody outside of the castle knew of her existence; Only the workers and of course, the legitimate Reiss family.

Frieda, Florian & Urklyn Reiss had to have been some of the best siblings anybody could ask for. Even in complete isolation, they would've never dreamt of letting Historia Reiss feel even remotely alone. Always bringing up some type of meals, letting her leave her tower at remote times, & even giving her a name to use when leaving the castle and walking out onto the land; Krista Lenz.

"Historia!" Called her little sister, Florian, as she rushed through her tower doors, embracing her in a hug. Historia had been just as excited to see her sister, as she would hold onto her as tightly as she possibly could have.

Behind Florian, had been Urklyn & Freida, holding up baskets. It seems the pair had just gotten back from the market, probably with the same treats for Blonde.

"Strawberry pastries." Said Freida as she handed her the basket that was in her hand, following by Urklyn handing his basket as well. "Your favorite!" He had continued.

"Thank you. I wouldn't know what I would do without any of you guys." Said Historia, a big wide grin plastered on her face. She had about 2 days worth of Strawberry Pastries in her hands, it was very exciting for her.

Though, yes it was true, her siblings never dreamt of leaving her; that wasn't stopping fate to run its course.

A blood-curdling scream would come from King Rod Reiss, as he entered the rooms of Dirk & Abel Reiss-- His youngest kids. They were lifeless on their beds with no pulse.

The screams only got worse as he checked the room of Urklyn Reiss-- his eldest son. He had also been laying lifeless on his bed, his skin was colder than the rest.

What really broke the King of Eldia, was entering the shared room of Florian & Freida Reiss. His eldest daughter and the middle child. Lifeless on their beds as well. Their pulses weren't there.

In all of their deaths there had been many common denominators; but the most prevalent one, was the tea cups sitting at all of their nightstands. Before bed, they each have a glass of tea to help them sleep better-- for royal duties of course. All of them except for Historia, who never had any important royal duties to fulfill. They saw no reason to schedule in a glass of tea for her as well. Except for Rod as well, who had been up all night fulfilling his own duties, that he hadn't even drank a sip of the tea in his study. It had just sat on his desk.

In realization, he had stood up from the sides of his daughter's bed. Looking at all the servants that had been watching from afar.

"Find--find out who it was that had served the Tea last night. Examine the full cup on my nightstand as well." He said, choking out all of his words.

One servant had stayed behind while the rest had went searching for The Tea Cup and the Tea makers last night.

"Mrs. Lisa Braus, what is it?" His voice had still been trembling, attempting his best to speak in the most polite manners to the kitchen working servant in front of him.

"My King-- I fear I might know what had happened." She said, keeping her head down while speaking to King Reiss.

"Well, speak up." His voice was rising. Demanding to know what had happened to his children.
