Chapter 8 - Her

Few days passed. Taehyung and Jisoo were already used to seeing and interacting with one another every day. For the past few days, they have learned more about each other. They no longer bicker with one another.

One Monday morning.

Taehyung: "Hmm. She's still here?" He thought. He's in the garage and was about to leave for work. He wonders why Jisoo's car is still there. Normally, Jisoo leaves a few minutes earlier than him. Although he still wonders why she hasn't left yet, he went ahead and left for work.

It was a usual busy day for Taehyung. He was on back-to-back meetings with his board members, reviewing the company's financials and some business proposals. It was 4 PM when he finally had free time.

He has his phone in his hand. He was staring at it.

Taehyung POV:

Should I send her a message? Or maybe call her? Should I ask now why she's still in the house when she should have left for work already? Or should I just wait to see her at home?

His mind was occupied with these thoughts.

RM: "Just send that message." He said while looking at him.

Taehyung: "Huh?" He lifted his head to look at him.

RM: "I said, just go ahead and send her a message or call her." He smiled.

Taehyung: "How did you know?" He asked him.

RM: "Well, I know what's going on inside your head with that look." He smiled, still looking straight at him.

Taehyung: He sighs deeply. "Is it that obvious?" He asked him.

RM: "Yes, it's obvious. And, you've changed too. We can see that." He answered.

Taehyung: "Hmm. How did you know that I've changed?" He asked him.

RM: "Well, when was the last time that you took someone out?" He asked. Taehyung didn't respond and was just thinking. "You may probably not remember the last time. When did you meet her? More than a month now, right? And, maybe she's that special that you fall for her immediately. Even without accepting the fact that you like her, it shows." He explained.

Taehyung: "I guess you know me that well, Hyung." He smiled a bit.

RM: "So, my advice for you is to be true with what you feel." He smiled.

Taehyung: He smiled. "Thank you, Hyung. I'll leave early today. I'll go ahead now." He stood up to get his bag.

RM: "Alright. You take care, bro." He said before Taehyung left.

After a couple of minutes, Taehyung arrived home. He noticed that Jisoo's car is already in the garage.

Taehyung: "Hmm. She's already here?" He thought.

He went straight to Jisoo's room which is next to his.

Taehyung: "Jisoo?" He knocks at the door. "Are you there?" He kept on knocking. "Jisoo?" He didn't receive any response but after a couple of minutes, Jisoo opened the door.

Jisoo: "Taehyung." She said with a weak voice.

Taehyung: "Hey, are you okay?" You look pale. "Are you sick?" He touched her forehead to check on her temperature. "You have a fever!" He immediately assisted her to get back to the bed.

Jisoo: "You're not allowed to get inside my room. That's one of the rules." She managed to say this.

Taehyung: "Seriously?" He frowned. "You're sick. You need someone to take care of you." He said while helping her to lie down on the bed. "Were you sick since this morning?" He asked her.
