A Court of Ice and Gods

Chapter 1

Thank you so much for clicking my second book! This takes place in the A court of Frost and Starlight Winter Solstice dinner party so...yeah that's about it...enjoy da book! WARNING! A BIT OF A GOREY CHAPTER! ENTER IF YA WANT!

3rd P.O.V

"Yoo, can you pass the gravy?" Cassian asks, "Su-" Elain gets interrupted by a blinding flash of light. the Inner circle race out to check what it was. As they reach the mountain, they see something falling from the sky.

A young woman, around the age of 23 for a mortal, is hurtling from the sky. before anyone had time to react, she has already hit the mountain and is too fast for anyone to stop. Bruising and badly broken, the woman reaches the snow and is barely conscious.

The inner circle race over to help her, Feyre grabbing her knife to heal her. but the figure sees them coming over and leaps back, letting out a sharp cry of pain from the sudden movement. Still inching away ever so slowly, the Inner circle try to get closer but she moves back further. "Stupid girl, we are trying to help you," Amren calls out,(you see, Amren doesn't have that calming feature on people) the girl scrambles back faster A/N she has common sense

The girl's features are quite exquisite, long dark brown hair that falls down to past her waist is charred. Dark brown eyes are flecked with black, barely making the pupil visible, long eyelashes that catch the snowflakes gently. Her clothes are trashed from the fall, and something else. the are scrape makes through her skin that is not just from the fall. (picture above without the arrows and with longer hair)

Rhysand is trying to get into her mind to calm her down but can't seem to get in. While everyone is trying to calm her down, there is another flash of light. This time, fresh limbs fall from the sky, as the first head falls down, the woman shrieks and cries out peoples names, "ABIGAIL! MUM! DAD!" over and over, crawling over to the disembowelled body parts, until her voice is horse. She could see frozen tears on all their faces, she wipes away the tears and continues bawling.

Feyre is slowly sneaking closer trying to calm her down when all of a sudden her head snaps up at Feyre, "DID YOU DO THIS?!" she shrieks, "DID YOU DO THIS TO MY FAMILY?!"

"N-no, we didn't do anything," Feyre stutters in a calming voice that would work on anyone, but not her.

Her eyes are still watery from the tears, but there is no mistake that there was pure hatred in her eyes. Feyre seems to notice and starts backing up, "YOU DID THIS TO THEM!" She yells with her horse voice. As Elain and Mor tell her that they have no clue on who has done this to them, the snow stops falling, right where they were. One by one they burst into little flames and disappear. Everyone is opened mouthed and staring at Feyre, who is starring at the woman, "I-I didn't do it," she stutters.

The woman figures out what she is saying and looks at her hands and yells. There is lighting dancing around her hands. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!" She shrieks. Thunder clouds rumble overhead, at that very moment, the girl is struck by lightning and collapses in the charred snow unconscious.

Sooo...how have I done for the first chapie? So if it is really cringy but I TRY! please continue to the next one. My schedule would probably be every week on (at least) Saturday for this and school for the rest of the week (no one really needs school right?)
