(It's been two weeks since two girls came to California to study )
Mai knocked the door, Mrs Lawrie opened:
_Oh , Hi!
_Hey Mrs Gray, I'm Shane's classmate , Mai, I'm here to take back my notebook.
_Well come in! Hey Shane , Mai is waiting for you downstairs! shouted the lady to her son .
Shane came quickly, he was shirtless! Mai stared at him and blushed : he was a white boy with black eyes and black soft hair . He was so cute . He looked like those hot guys from rock bands.
He opened his mouth to say "thank you " but she was already leaving : Mai took her notebook quickly and left without saying anything. She was speechless !
_Why did she leave like that ? She could stay a bit ! said his mother . _How am I supposed to know that ? He rolled his eyes and went upstairs .
Mai is spending a whole year in California to study and then she will come back to her country !
She was kinda into this Shane. But, she is not used to see shirtless guys .
She went back to the campus -where she stays - and started talking with her room mate who's her BFF :
_He was so hot ! Oh my Goodness , I don't know !
_Who's that ? What are you talking about !
_Nothing, nothing. Forget about it , Chloé !
Chloé jumped on Mai's bed and yelled:
_What's going on sis ? Who's hot ?
And then she started singing :"MAI FELL IN LOVE , MAI FELL IN LOVE "
_Oh Chloé ! I'm gonna kill you ! Leave me alone !
_Okey Mai , as you like ! Take it easy ... I was thinking of going out and having some pizza or something ! Are you coming ? _No , I'm not feeling well ! Enjoy yourself ! _Okey, See ya !
Chloé left and Mai took a paper and started writing a song .She listened to some music and then fell asleep ...until Chloé woke her up :
_Get up lazy ! It's 7 am now ! God , you slept for 14 hours . You Okey ?
_At least , I feel more relieved!
_Let's go to Starbucks . Put on your clothes , we 're gonna have fun today!
Mai and Chloé were too far apart for distances , but they were best and very close Friends .
They wore skinny jeans , T-shirts and sneakers , brushed their hair and went out .
Once they reached Starbucks , they sat down and ordered their coffee and Chloé shook her head and said:
_Sorry Mai , I didn't mean to read the song lyrics but I did and I really liked it . How about singing it ?
_I don't have time for music Chloé !
_Sorry !
_Oh sweetie , I don't know why I'm acting this way but sorry I'm not fine at all !

_What ! How do you know his name ? I didn't tell you about him , did I ?
_No , you didn't ! But I read what he wrote for you in your notebook ..
_What ! What did he write ? Are you kidding me ?

_Yeah , I know ! So tell me , did you tell him about your feelings ?
_Are you insane ? I'm not going to tell him anything !
_Why not ?
_He won't even think about me , I'm not his type of girls !
_How did you know that ?
_ Some girls from school told me that he is a bad boy and he likes popular and pretty girls ! Well , I'm not !
_Stop it . You're the prettiest , Mai ! Are you kidding me?
_We're totally different , I'm a good girl and he is a bad boy , What a perfect match !So a relationship between us wouldn't work !
_It is not a problem , love is love , you may be the way to his happiness . You may change him , you can make him a better person ! I promise sis everything will be alright !

_Omg ! Oh my god ! I can't believe it ! SHANE asked me to come to his party . _Shit ! Holy shit ! _What am I going to do ? Should I go ? _OF COURSE , MAI ! Are you going to miss this opportunity ?
Mai smirked and took a sip from her coffee .
