Blinding lights, blaring music, crowded areas; this was the atmosphere of the club. Y/n could feel the music through her, the beats perfectly syncing with her rapidly increasing heart rate. She'd been to Club Rouge before with Oikawa but this time, it felt different. She wasn't filled with the eccentric feeling and happiness she did before because this time... This time the intentions for coming were different.

Passing through the club, red blights blinded y/n's vision, but she kept her eyes forward, ever so now and then glancing at Kuroo, whose features were god-like in this atmosphere. The red strobes reflecting on his eyes, giving him a devilish glint. Multiple times, there were hands thrown over at him by drunk women, motioning him to come but he didn't make eye contact. Looking to her right, she saw a bundle of people around a pool table cheering when the black ball slipped into a pocket. A large sum of money was pushed into the middle and the man grinned brightly with women on his side. To her left, there was poker and other gambling games going on, arguments. All around her, she could catch glimpses of the shadows of people making out, away from the strobe light.

"You okay, princess", he said, not giving eye contact but knowing y/n was worried.

Y/n's lips were pursed with her brows furrowed.

"Yeah", she swallowed.

Worry filled y/n's stomach, making her feel sick. She stopped moving and pursed her lips. Kuroo stopped and frowned, looking back, seeing y/n scared - this being the first time since they met.

"Kuroo, what if this doesn't work?"

Kuroo had a confused look on his face. Tilting his head as he pouted, he cupped her chin, making her look at him. Y/n felt her heart flutter at his soft eyes staring at her, trying to comfort her.

"Princess. It's going to work."

"What if it doesn-"

"It's going to work."

Sighing, she knew it was useless to argue with Kuroo but she had all the rights to be worried. One wrong move here like Kuroo's friend could be working with the Sakayura Crew and she was screwed. There was no backing out now though.

"Is that who I think it is? Kuroo Tetsurō..."

Whipping his head to his right, he was met with a blonde man, hair pulled back. Kuroo's soft glance, turned into an intense, cold stare.
