9. Detective Aly

Author's POV

"Riyaz? Ro kyu rahe ho? Kya hua hai?", yn asked as his tears made her also cry.
Rii got back and wiped his tears. Yn cupped his face and looked at him for an answer.
He then said, "Tumhe yaad hai uss din mai kisi ladki ka message dekh kar smile kar raha tha?". Yn nodded.
"Woh meri Girlfriend thi. Mai usse bohat pyaar karta tha. America mein hum saath rehte the. Two days before, when I went America to surprise her on her birthday. What I saw was just unbelievable. She cheated on me yn. How can she does this to me? Koyi aisa kisi ke saath kaise kar sakta hai? Koyi insaan aisa kaise ho sakta hai yn...." and he started breaking down in the arms of yn.

Yn's POV

Koyi insaan aisa kaise ho sakta hai? This line hit me different.
Riyaz Aly kisi ko itna kaise chaah sakta hai?

But keeping my thoughts aside, I've to handle him.

I made him look into my eyes and said, "Riyaz, agar uss ladki ne tumhe cheat kiya, then it's her loss, not yours. Kyuki tum jaise chaahne wale, khush naseeb logo ko milte hai. Usne tumhari value nahi kee then why the hell are you wasting your emotions on her. Look forward, there's a world standing and screaming your name. There is your family who stans you. We value you"

"We?", he asked as I included myself too.
"I mean they", I replied trying not to look in his eyes.
"Do you really think, I should cheer up?", he asked with innocence.
"You must", I ordered.
"We're waiting for you downstairs", I said before leaving his room.

"Do you think Bhai aayenge?", Sheila asked.
I gave her a don't-know look.
Suddenly, there were smiles filled as he stepped down.
They shared hugs and Riyaz sat in front of me.

"Maine tumhari baat maan Lee iska yeh matlab nahi ki ab hum dost hai", he whispered in my ear.
"Tumse dosti karne se acha, mai karela ka juice pee loon woh bhi do glass", I whispered back. He rolled his eyes at that and same did I.

........

"Hey Sheila. Actually mai itni excited thi yahan aane ke liye ki mai kuch important stuff bhool aayi", I said in a heavy voice to her.
"Important stuff?", she asked.
I nodded and she understood.
"Lemme shut the door first", she said and closed the door.

She handed me a pack of pads and I thanked her.
I covered it with my dupatta and opened the door.
I saw Riyaz standing infront of me and glaring with his intense eyes.
Sheila came from back and asked him, "Bhai. Aap yahan humein aise kyu dekh rahe ho?"
"Tum dono kya kar rahi thi?", he asked raising his eyebrow.
"Ku...kuch bhi toh nahi", she stammered.
"Mai sab jaanta hoon ki tumne yn ko kuch diya", he exclaimed.
Me and Sheila widened our eyes. We exchanged looks.
"Kya diya Sheila tune yn ko. Mujhe bhi chahiye. Mujhe bhi do", he started an argument.
We were standing there controlling our laughter and enjoying the Avatar of Detective Aly.
Sheila gave me a you-go-I-will-handle-look. I nodded and left.

Author's POV

"Sheila, teri koyi friend ka number de na mujhe. Time pass ke liye aise hee", Rii asked while making himself comfortable in Sheila's room.
"Kya yaar bhai. Meri aise koyi bhi friends nahi hai", she replied.
"Mujhe yn se kuch kaam hai mai jaa rahi hoon", she said and left.

........

"Sheila, yeh wali pic send karna mujhe", yn said while scrolling gallery in Sheila's phone.
"Tumhara new number hee nahi hai mere paas. Save kardo na", Sheila replied.
Yn nodded and was about to save but Sheila got a message from someone.
"Koyi na. Yeh lo tum baat karlo", yn said and handed her phone back. Yn wrote her number on a paper and gave it to Sheila.
"Save whenever you're free", she said and left.

.......

"Tum meri baat samajhne ki koshish kyu nahi karte....", Sheila was talking to someone on phone but bumped into Rii.
"Dekh kar chal na", he said with irritation. Sheila made an apology face and left.
Rii was about to move but his gaze stuck on the floor. He found a paper. He picked it up and a smile curved his lips.
"Sheila ki friend ka number", he said to himself in excitement and went in his room.
