Chapter 22

    "THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR COMING OUT HERE TONIGHT!" I heard Cj yell from afar.

"God dammit Selever." I growled under my breath before flying faster.

Cj's pov:

I thought Y/N would be here by now. I looked in the crowd for the 32nd time and still no sight of her.

"Sorry...Im late..." My friend, Ruby, said as she huffed.

"You look tired! Did you run all the way over here?"

"Yeah.." She stood up and rubbed the back of her neck.

"You know you didn't have to come. I can handle the band without you. You're supposed to be taking a break." I looked at Ruby concerned.

"But I feel so bad-" She got cut of by the sound of  fast footsteps coming from behind her.

"Y/N!" I ran over to hug her.

"Hey! Sorry me and my boyfriend were fighting." She laughed it off.

"Oh I hope you guys are ok."

"Hope I'm not too late." She straitened her F/C hoodie.

"Nope! I was just about to sing my next song!"

Y/N's pov:

Cj's voice was loud and clear. It was beautiful almost hypnotizing. It was strange...

Thats when I realized Cj's eyes weren't the normal blue I saw at the park. They glowed a blood red.

"THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING TONIGHT! ILL SEE YOU NEXT TIME!" Cj said before walking behind stage.

"Cj...whats wrong with your eyes..?" I pointed at them worried.

"What do you mean Y/N?" Cj looked around.

Everyone, including the crowd, had left. It was just me and Cj.

"They'er red." I started to take steps back and summoned a kitchen knife from the church.

Cj's body had turned black. The only thing that was left was a black silhouette and red eyes and teeth.

"Looks like my cover has been blown." The thing with a different voice said.

"WHAT ARE YOU!?"

It didn't respond. It just stood there. Then a slender lemon man came from behind the wall. Was he listening?

"Ew. What the fuck are you?" I pointed the knife at it with a disgusted look.

"Im lemon demon." The thing spoke with a  raspy pitch that went up and down.

"No shit. You really look like one too. WAIT WHAT DID YOU DO TO CJ!?"

"I used him as a puppet. You have strong powers. And I like that."

"Aw fuck not another one.." I whispered and smacked my head

"Look just give me Cj back and you won't look like you got attacked by a group of flies." I snickered.

"How insulting! Corrupt Cj, get that brat!" Cj ran towards me.

I was shocked and barley managed to dodge his attack. It would be hard to attack someone that could possibly be my friend.

"CJ DON'T DO THIS!" I tried but he didn't listen.

We went back and forth. I would dodge every time he tried to grab or attack me.

I don't think I'll be able to get through to him. especially in this state he's in. Or if he's even in there. I thought as I was in the sky.

"Seems like this isn't enough." Lemon demon spoke as he snapped his fingers.

"Corrupt Selever, help Cj." My eyes widened as Selever walked out.

He looked exactly like what happened to Cj. I almost got hit by Cj as I fell to the floor.

"You got Selever too..."

"It was easy. I had controlled his that very morning until you beat him. His powers were weakened when I controlled him but will be enough to stop you." Lemon demon bragged with a wide grin.

Selever released his claws and ran towards me. I some how managed to run out the way but my cheek was scratched.

"FUCK!" The scratch burnt like hell.

"Looks like I should have started with Selever." He shrugged before leaning on the wall.

Selever kicked the back of my legs, making me fall. I had a plan but it would be hard and possibly not work.

"This was too easy. Finish her off Corrupt Selever." It nodded and lunged towards me.

I quickly turned around and grabbed his wrist, allowing me to dodge his attack and put that bitch in shock.

Lemon demon turned around angry and surprised at the same time. He looked like he was about to explode in anger.

I let go of Selever's hand, grabbed his cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss. My eyes were closed but I could feel him kissing me back.

"Y/N..." He rested his head on my shoulder.

"Selever." My eyes watered.

"DAMMIT!" Lemon demon stomped around angrily.

"DON'T MESS THIS UP CORRUPT CJ!" He ordered him and Cj ran towards us.

"Stop CJ." He listened to me.

"W-WHAT!?"

Black goo fell off of him and he collapsed. Cj's body was covered in bits of it but I was glad he was ok.

"Cupid." I grabbed a sword.

My wings turned a light pink, and my hair turned hot pink. A short pink dress with pink white hearts at the bottom formed. The sword was covered with a scabbard that also had pink hearts.

"HOW!? THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!" Lemon demon shook his head uncontrollably.

Light pink barriers surrounded Selever and Cj. I walked through the one Selever was in.

"You bad guys just never listen." I grinned before pulling the sword out.

It was covered in pink hearts and dots. Pink flames started to form. I almost dropped it but the flames didn't affect me.

"Loving cage." The flames shot off of my sword and formed a cage that slowly burnt him alive.

"ILL BE BAC-" He managed to say before being burnt to a crisp.

"Well that's over." I put my hands on my hips.

I looked over to Cj and Selever. They both were knocked out and I could tell why. They had been possessed by a rotten fruit that nobody likes.

''Lets go home big guys." I put them on white clouds covered in hearts before flying off to the church.
