-We shouldn't be here," said the older one as he caressed and kissed his beloved's chest.

-I know, but it's inevitable," answered the other after tenderly kissing his hair.

The atmosphere for the young lovers was simply paradise, since outside that room the day was splendid, the sun was bright and strong, reflected in the sea, letting the reflections of the water pass into the room where they were immersed in caresses and kisses. That summer they had escaped to this place along the Italian coast, which gave them the privacy they needed to love each other without having to hide. Two souls free of glances, free of their ties, free of their fears, just loving each other.

The murmur of the waves was the backdrop for that magnificent Italian painting where two beautiful young men came together again with deep passion. The older one sat on his lover submerging himself with exquisite slowness in that sea hungry for pleasure, whispering over and over again, the name of his precious younger one, which he knew drove him wild and uncontrollable, and that this one, in turn, traced constellations of kisses on his elegant neck, leading him on the path to his destruction.

If they had been in the city, they would have upset even the oldest person by all the exquisite noise they emitted. Heat emanated from their bodies, reminding them how alive they were, how right it was to be together, entwining their souls for the umpteenth time. The younger one took it upon himself to deliver to his angel the best sensations, those that claimed to be ineffable sins. The older one held his lover's face, making the movements slow and torturing for both of them. They moved for an eternity in that way, inciting the other to break his own sanity.

They needed each other more than anything, the elder needed him more than his paintings and sculptures; and the younger, craved him more than his beloved weapons. The artist and the general, masters of dancing between life and death, had reached paradise the day they joined lips after so much denial. Their hearts succumbed to the intensity of their need to feel each other, to love each other, that they did not hesitate to continue with that madness.

-I love you," whispered the elder, admiring the stars that rose from the deep dark gaze of his younger.

-I adore you even more, my love..... Heaven alone knows the peace you have brought to my afflicted heart," he answered, hiding his face in his lover's breast, "You are the one who guides my reason, what keeps me firm in this land of blood, what makes me thankful every day that I am alive. That's what I would like to be for you, the one who supports and guides you in the midst of your own darkness.

The older man kissed his lips with a storm overwhelming his insides. The love he felt for this man was impossible for him to describe. He begged him, shyly, to guide them to their exquisite release. And so his lover did, he laid him down on the wide bed, positioning himself on top of him to give him what he so delightfully demanded. And who was he to deny anything to the reason for his existence. He rammed into him with the desperation of one who needs to live, although he made him suffer a little by making slow movements and then made him scream with pure satisfaction. Feeling close, the younger one tried to touch with more impetus in that exact spot that caused so much delight to his elder and so they continued until they moaned each other's name in the middle of their deep ecstasy.

The artist smiled, with infinite nostalgia and tears in his eyes, as he remembered that past so unreachable now. Too many or too few summers had passed since they had been joined in freedom. He did not know how long it had been since those days. Everything had changed and his precious and beautiful youngest, had been brought back to life by the hands of the talented artist, who painted that flower on his beloved's chest and once decorated a room in front of the sea. He would never see him again, not after what had happened. Now only that statue with that flower was evidence of the existence of their ephemeral union.
