1977, Oct, 15

I woke up with an alarm ringing in my left ear. I turned over to turn off my alarm. But instead of simply just switching it off I actually smacked the alarm. Suddenly after I smacked the alarm he heard something shuffle in my closet. My suspicions were right! I officially have monsters in my closet, I thought. So I got up to look at what could have possibly happened there.

I look into my closet and I'm certainly surprised with what my eyes have seen. It looked like a person but also not... I ran to my shelf and pulled out a gun that my brother Wilbur had given me for my 18th birthday. I pointed the gun at the creature with no sign of hesitation. "Wait!" it cried. I stared at the creature in shock. If this thing is an otherworldly creature, then how did it know English?

What is this thing and how did it even get here? ''You know English. So who are you." I said in a threatening tone, still pointing the gun at it. "I don't know how to say my name in your peoples language" "try!" I yelled in anger. It was right. The thing made a series of sounds that sounded like gibberish but were well put together. "I-Im the one who sent you that package. With the rock and note!" It cried, still fearing I would shoot him. I knew perfectly well which package he was talking about

"What was that language on the paper...?" I questioned. "That was my language from my world. It's called the End." it replied less fearful. I took a moment to think about this. "I can teach you about dimensions and realms that you've never heard of before!" It pleaded. I was rather interested in that offer. I still keep my guard and find his weak points so I'm nothing but stronger than him. I lowered my gun causing the creature to lower his hand out of relief as well.

"Alright you can live but you'll be staying in this house for a while." I still say scowling at it. "What should I call you since I can't say your name?" "oh um, just call me you, he, they? I don't really know." "Alright, get out of the closet, let's eat." I said walking out of my room and to the stairs. The creature acted like a child, hopping around in joy, bumping into things. He reminded me of Tommy and me. He reminded me of the recklessness that Tommy had and the shyness that I carried as a child. I went straight to the kitchen and grabbed two bowls and a box of cereal. I poured the cereal then the milk and sat the bowl in front of him.

He stared at the bowl in an amazed stare. "What is it?" he asked. "Its food" "wow, the only food i've ever seen is Chorus fruit!" he said with excitement. I looked at him for a moment, slightly shocked. Has he really only been eating fruit? He put his hand in the bowl and grabbed the cereal and put it in a fistfull of cereal in his mouth. I watched him do this for a bit with utter shock. "It's so good!" he exclaimed.

"What?" he asked me as he saw my face. "Uh, you're supposed to use the spoon" "what a sPoOn?" he said. I laughed for a moment. "Here, grab this. now scoop the little bits that you've been eating into it." I explained. He watched in amazement as I grabbed his hand, claws? I don't know. I watched him figure out how to eat the food and he was quite excited about it.

All of a sudden, the phone rang. The creature jumped at the sound and suddenly appeared to be shaking in the living room. I was astounded at the new finding that he could teleport. I went to pick up the phone to get rid of the noise. "Tobby SBI" I called into the phone. "Ey Tobby" said Tommy through the phone. "Oh hey Tommy." "you sound a bit shaken Tubz" "yeah the phone just startled me" I lied, I wasn't comfortable talking about the alien in the room.

"Oh yeah, I called to make sure you were still on board to come home at Christmas." "yep, I gotta go though. Tell Fundy I said 'hi'". I heard some murmuring in the background then a little voice called from the back. "Hi! Uncle Tubbo!". I smiled as I heard the joyful little voice call over to the phone. "Alright I gotta go, bye champ!" I said as I put the phone down. I noticed that the creature was staring at a picture of a rainbow on a shelf of mine. He was completely mesmerized by the picture.

"What's this!?" he said, suddenly shooting me with a look of awe. I jumped from his sudden yelp. "Oh, that's a rainbow," I replied with a small chuckle. "Raaaiinnboooww..." he said as he stared at the picture. Suddenly I had an idea. What if we based his name on the word rainbow? Rainbow, what do you make with rainbow? Ranbow, maybe?

"Hey, how about we make your name based off of rainbow." "yes, yes, yes! Let's do that!" "Rainbow, ummm. What about Ranbow?" "ooo! Ranboo!" he exclaimed with joy. "Ranboo. I like it. Alright, we'll call you Ranboo." I said as he smiled. I looked at the clock and realized that it was about time for me to leave. "Oh god! I have to get ready!" I cried as I ran up the stairs. Ranboo watched me dash up the stairs in confusion. I rushed to get ready, grabbed my bag and ran out the door. "Bye Rambo!" I said as I closed the door.

Ranboo POV:

What was Tubbo in such a rush for? Was it right to call him that? I heard the loud machine he talked into call him that. I'm sure it's fine. I sat in the closet again. The very spot that he discovered me. I looked at the fabrics that were piled up.

I thought of Tubbo while I laid there. I had actually been in his house longer than he thought. In human time I've been here for four days. He never really noticed me until I gave him the package. I may be able to speak human but I can't write in human. As the hours went by I missed him more and more. I felt like there was a big hole in me when he left.

I listened and listened for the door and finally! Hours later I heard it open and close! I jumped up with glee. I accidentally cut a few of the fabrics in the closet. Hesitating and looking at the fabrics in regret I decided that it was fine. Endermen have a skill to be able to transform into a small dragon. I thought this would add an effect to me.

I wasn't sure what this effect was, but it just felt right. I bolted down the stairs in my dragon form. I ran to Tubbo and jumped into his arms. "Ack!" Tubbo yelped. I decided to revert back to my half ender form. "Ahh!" Tubbo yelped again, this time from reaction to my transformation. "Hi Tubbo!" I exclaimed, still in his arms. "Ranboo!?" "It's me! Ranboo!" I said with joy.

For a moment me and Tubbo locked eyes. I broke his wonderful gaze by backing a couple feet away. Tubbo walked over to me. He then put one finger on my white horn. "Your horns. They're bigger." he said with an innocent face staring quizzically. I pretended to be able to see my horns by looking up. "Oh, I guess they are." "why are they so tall?" he asked.

"My horns are a reaction to my feelings," I told him. "When I'm feeling sad, mad, hurt, or stressed they get bigger. But when I'm feeling anything opposite to any of those they go down." I said looking at him with joy. I was so happy that he was getting along with me. "Hmmm, does it hurt?" "no I hardly notice." "do you want them down?" "that would be nice. Yes.'' I said. To be honest they were more annoying than painful. For instance laying down is a pain and walking is even worse. Tubbo looked me in the eyes with a direct straight face.

Tubbo then randomly clasped his arms around me and buried his face into my chest. I jumped from the sudden action. My tail and ears shot up and my horns flew down instantly. How did he know this would make me so happy? Still ridged from the sudden action, I stared at him in shock. What is this? Why was he doing this?

I looked down at him with a flustered face. What is this feeling? And why does my chest feel like it's screaming with joy? "Um, Tubbo?" I said looking at him. Tubbo loosened his grip and walked about a foot back. "Your horns are back to their normal size." he said, touching my white horn again. "What was that, Tubbo?" "you've never had a hug?" "No. Physical touch is forbidden where I'm from." I said still looking at Tubbo. "That sounds awful," Tubbo said, going back for another hug.

I noticed that he was beginning to fall asleep while leaning against me. "Hey Ranboo..." he mumbled. "Yes, Tubbo?" I replied in a calming voice. "Ya wanna come... with me to England?..." he said groggily. What was England? Whatever it is, it's where Tubbo will be. "Sure..." I replied, closing my eyes.

I held him in my arms as we stood in front of the door. I noticed that Tubbo had fully fallen asleep. I picked him up and brought him to his bed. As I rested the boy in his bed I smiled. His exhausted face finds peace in his sleep. I pulled the blanket over him and watched him for a moment. "Goodnight my prince." I whispered as I walked to the closet.

As I sat in the pile of fabrics I thought about all the things that we would do. Tubbo would teach me about all sorts of human things and I would teach him about my home. As my thoughts of the future drifted, so did I. I soon fell into the deep comfort of sleep. Onto the next day...
