Other Facts: After a devastating accident when Kanji was younger when he was 14, he broke his arm, and the break was a nonunion break, which means a break that will not heal. All his life he had played Volleyball. He even managed to beat the 'King,' Tobio Kageyama once. But after he broke his arm in the accident he was told he would never be able to play Volleyball or any other sports that included his arm. The most he can do is play football and swim but he could only use his non-broken arm which made it difficult. But not being able to play Volleyball didn't stop him from becoming Karasuno's part time coach and full time manager.
