Dahvies POV.
Jayy hung up on me, I layed down on my bed "fuck" I whispered to myself. I shouldn't just lay here while my friend is probably getting abused by his brother. I picked up my phone and tapped redial. Maybe I should apologize. "Hello? Who's this?" The voice on the other end was obviously not Jayys, but it was familiar. Harsh, mean, almost scary. "Uum, *cough* es um, My names Joe... Wrong number sorry!" I hit end call and grabbed my heart in a panic. I hope Jayys okay... I hope he's not hurt. I went to bed, excited to see Jayy tomorrow, and scared.
Jayys POV
I woke up in the morning, my face hurting like a mother fucker. "Damn.." I said to myself, I got out of bed and went to my bathroom mirror. "Damn" I said again, seeing my eye was black and my lip was swollen. I did my makeup, covering up my wounds as good as I could. I got dressed and successfuly snuck out to go to school.
I saw Dahvie sitting on a bench twiddling his fingers. I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. "Remember me?" I said, he looked up and a smile grew on his face. "Jayy, hi." He said. I sat next to him, quietly , we sat. Glancing at each other every couple seconds. Finally the silence was broke. "What happened last night?" Dahvie asked, his eyes covered in worry. I can't lie to him again. "Uhm, he caught me talking to you." I said looking away, from him, so he couldn't read my eyes. "What did he do?" Dahvie asked. I looked at him and smiled. Guess I have to lie after all. "Nothing. He just took my phone" I answered. "Then why is your lip swole and your eye black?" He gently brushed his finger over my face. I closed my eyes, his touch was so warm and caring. His hand left my skin to soon. I opened my eyes and almost died, dahvie was crying, his lips quivered, tears rolling down his face. "If he touches you again, I'll kill him." Dahvie said, hugging me tight. The warmth flooded over me once more. Never let go of me Dahvie
