The Mind of a Crazy Person (not really) [MIND]

This time I'm just gonna speak in my mind as today goes on. A few days passed, and it's been good so far. I went on a couple of missions with them, mainly being on watch, but it's fine. Deimos really likes staring at me and asking me questions for some odd reason. I like answering them, though. Right now, I'm on watch with Deimos. He's hanging half of his body out of the watch tower we're in. "Deimos, you're gonna kill yourself on accident if you keep doing that." I held out my hand for him to grab. He actually took my hand and stopped dangling over the edge of the watch tower. "Fiiiine, I'll listen to you, y/n." Thank god he listened, he almost slipped out and fell to his death a couple of minutes ago. "I don't want you to die. Just lookin' out for ya, Deimos." Damn, I sound like a weirdo. "I understand your concern, y/n. I won't do it again." "Good, Deimos. I just met you and it'd be upsetting if you died. You seem nice." I stare at Deimos, concerned for him. "Oh yeah I got some jerky, y/n. I know you like jerky, so I got some for us to share." I smile. "Thank you so much, Deimos. I appreciate it." He opens the bag of jerky and hands me a few pieces. He watched me eat the jerky he handed me, and he smiled. "I hope you like the flavor I bought, I wasn't sure if you-" "Yeah, it's my favorite. You actually got my favorite flavor of jerky, Deimos." Jesus fucking christ. He actually got my favorite jerky flavor. That's ironic. "I wasn't sure if you.. had the same taste in jerky as me. But it's clear that you do, since I got (insert your favorite flavor of beef jerky and if you don't have one then idk) jerky and that's also my favorite." It was cute that we shared a lot in common. Our day goes on, and my friendship with Deimos grows stronger.
