chapter twelve

(Y/N)'S POV

Once again back in school and the media was all over the school when they heard Taehyun took his life because of the abuse accusations against him.

Everyone seems to move on with their life because it's the second semester for them to graduate out of high school.

I met with Beomgyu in the hallway. I didn't want to be involved anymore when he told me his victim is Kai.

It makes no sense, Kai seems like a sweet and kind guy. What could he possibly have done that he needs to be punished?

Just then my phone chimes, I took it out of my pocket and saw the message they send me for my next victim.

I was so confused because I thought I have to wait at least a year or two to transfer to another school and plan to lore my victim.

I open the message and read the name of my victim. This can't be possible, but this is my job and if I don't comply then I'll be dead, for real.

Then I felt a finger tapped on my shoulder making me jump in my spot and quickly shove my phone back into my pocket.

"(Y/n) are you busy after school today?" Kai asks me. I thought for a moment and I almost completely forgot that Beomgyu wanted to meet me after school too.

"Actually, yeah I'm going to be with Beomgyu," I told him. I notice that his hands turned into fists.

"If you want you can tag along," I mentioned to him then his hands relaxed then his smiles grew on his face.

"Thanks but I have to decline, just remember I have to help my grandma with something," He says then walks away, not before he bumped his shoulder against Beomgyu, who was coming this way to talk to me.

"What was that about?" He asks me when looks at Kai disappear in the crowd of students walking the school hallway.

"I don't know, he grew tense when I mentioned you,"

"Then he must be jealous that I'm with you all the time than he does," I hit him on his chest.

I kind of agree with it though, Kai kept asking me if Beomgyu and I are together but I always give him the same answer.

It just wasn't enough for him to let it go. "I heard you have another victim," He said to which I hummed.

"Who is it? I could help you again," He wrapped his arm around my shoulder when he said it.

I was hesitant, "My next victim..."

"Come on, just tell me," he nudge my shoulder then kept bugging me to tell him my victim's name.

"It's going to be easy if we can get rid of him or her together-"
