Harmony pov-

I was just standing infront of my house staring blankly before I put my key in and opened it when I walked through the door u was welcomed with a silence so I looked around and saw my dad in the kitchen and a knife in his hands he looked towards me and gave a sinister smile that sent shivers throughout my body. He walked towards me and pulled me into a hug, i didn't understand what was going on so I just stood there froze until he grabbed my hair from the back making me put my arms around him. We stood like that for a few seconds until he sat me down and looked at me with discust, he sat down next to me and grabbed my wrist putting ut in his lap. My hand was shaking and I didnt know what to do and I just sat there looking at his eyes before I felt a cold metal being pushed into my wrist and blood started to come out covering the knife and as more blood came out it made him push in harder until I screamed and he pulled the knife out of my skin and said
"I'm having people over today and I need you to be out this house by the time they come there's 10 pound on the kitchen table I don't want to see you"
And with with he stood up and left so I went to my room got my coat on and left the house. Although i had nowhere to go for the night it was the most safe I had felt for the longest. I was walking until I saw a chemist so I decided to go in and buy some pills which hopefully could free me from this life and as I was walking I saw a dark figure infront of me, I clutched the bag with the pills in tighter as I walked past but I heard the bottom of the paper brown back rip and everything fall out. The stranger bent down to pick them up while I just stood there froze it felt like I had been like this forever until I heard a deep voice ask
"What are these for "he had a sense of concern in his voice but right now j couldn't even look at him and when I tried to respond I just broke down. Soon I felt someone grab my hand and pull me to their chest causing me to flinch as much as I wanted to stop crying I couldn't and soon I heard the man say
" hey whats your name I'm jammal" as i looked up he was smiling and I couldn't help but to smile back at him while admiring his looks he was beautiful I didn't realise he was staring back at me so I cleared my throught and said
"h-harmony"i smiled and tried to walk away until he grabbed my hand and started taking me somewhere, even though he had already been so nice to me I was still flinched when his hand clenched around mine, we carried on walking until he stopped at a bench in the park and we both sat down. We sat in silence until he said
"Look I'm not here to hurt you harmony I just want you to know that you can talk to me okay. I just want to know why you had those pills"he said on such a soft voice as if he didn't want to scare me u looked at him as a few minutes as I was contemplating wether I should tell him or not until I decided I didn't care what my dad thought or did to me anymore so responded and said.
"I can't do this anymore he's always hurting me a-and I just wanted to end everything I-i just want to be dead and with my mother he always does it and I don't know what to do becau-"i stopped when I realised I was just rambling and going on and apologise
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to. Thank you but I'm going to go now " i started to get up until he said
"It's your dad isn't it" and I nodded grabbing my coat and ad I was putting it on he said
"You can always come and stay with me and the boys until you feel safe"at first I thought he was joking but when he touched my thigh j decided that I was going to stay with him even though he was a stranger I knew that nobody could put me through as much pain as my father already did so I said
"Thank-you so much would It be okay if I did because I don't want to bothe-" he cut me off by saying
"Don't worry about it come on " so he took my hand and entwined our fingers and got into a black range rover. I looked out the window until he stopped and I saw a house house looked like the one I live In. I then heard him come and open my door and say
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't even tell you my name I'm jamaal come on you can come and meet the boys"
