Silently Aware

This is a self-aware au! Ill probabpy do a lot of those bc there really interesting and fun to make! Also it's yandere! Aether for this one

You ploped onto your gaming chair, after an exhausting day at school you just wanted to play genshin and relax, you open up the game and it starts loading, once it was done you were in Mond, having just finished a commission you were ready to collect your reward, which was 1,300 mora, 10 wishes, and 50 primogems, I'll be able to wish! You thought happily as you went to the banner, you wished and got 3 swords, one four star, one three star and one another four star, you got 3 books, which were all three star, you got 3 bows, two were four and one was three, you bit your lip as you waited for the final one to show up, you hoped desperately that it was a Character, anyone! You didn't care as long as you got someone, and then you saw it, or should I say him, Scaramouche, the 6th of the 11 fatui harbingers, you squealed in excitement (your in the future btw)

"Oh he is my new main, sorry Aether!" You exclaim, immidietly going into your party to change it, you tried to swap off Aether for Scara but it glitched and you couldn't, frowning you sigh, removing Xingqiu from your team, "I'm sorry dear bookworm, I just need Scaramouche in my team, I'll try and swap off Aether later, but fare well for now, may we cross patches in the future" you say dramatically, giggling slightly afterwards, you leave the menu and try and switch Aether for Scara, yet it glitched again and you couldn't, when you looked closer you saw that Aether had a slight frown on his face, Weird.. You thought, Aether was always smiling, so why wasn't He? Maybe it's just a glitch, it's been doing that a lot lately and you didn't know why, or what to think about it, shrugging it off you just kept on doing commissions, getting more mora and primogems to get wishes, yet you decide it was best to save up, you'd notice that Aether did a lot more damage then before, before he did 3329-5300 damage but now he did 10,000-15,000, you were surprised, maybe your siblings had played when you were gone? It was pretty likely, you shrug it off though,

"Wow, Aether! You do a lot more damage, I think from now on your a permanent member of my team!" You say, not really thinking much if it, but that's when you see Aether smile, his frown leaving immidietly after you said that, confused and slightly freaked out you decide to finish two commissions before heading off for bed, little did you know Aether knew everything.

Aethers POV

Ah, I missed 'em, they were super good company, I'm glad she's back now! I'm glad she said that about me, it almost fixes the fact that she was about to kick me off her team, which would have sucked, so when I heard that, I knew I need to work extra hard! And that's what i did, so now im a permanent member of they're team! Now that makes up for almost kicking me out,

Third Person POV

To say Aether knew everything about you is an understatement, he knows about everything in your entire life. Bad day at school? He was fully aware and made sure that when you were on you'd get someone you wanted or get a lot of primogems even for a small task. Family issue? Yep, he knows everything about that and wished the people who've done you wrong a slow and painful death. Issues with your grades? He knows about that and leaves slight hints on how to help around the map for you to find, Aether is fully aware he is in a game but choses not to act upon it, instead he observers your life from afar, silently wishing he could hold you like it would be your last breath on this earth, he wishes to be with you every moment of the day and night, to keep you safe and protected from the cruel world, he had already lost someone he cared about and he isn't losing you, ever. He will go to extensive measures to keep you with him, he had everything planned out, now he just need to get to you, if only there was a way for him to permanently stay with you, whether it be in his world or yours, it didn't matter to him as long as he was with you.

You slept soundly that night, feeling for the first time in a long time, good, as you layed in your bed with soft blankets wrapped around your frame, your not sure why you felt like this but maybe you should play Genshin before going to sleep every night if it meant to feel something when you layed in bed, trying to fall into a relaxing slumber. You had just made one little mistake, you left genshin opened. You had forgotten to close it and as it was in a different room it never crossed your mind, Aether had used this to try and pry himself out of the game, to which he succeeded too and when he practically flew out the screen, landing, surprisingly quietly on the ground, he looked around, dazed.

"I really did it.." He whispered, looking around the room, I ACTUALLY DID IT! He thought happily as he jumped around, making no noise whatsoever when he landed back down on the ground, he grinned like a maniac after they got away with murder, he spun around, his braid wiping back behind him, he walks out of the room. Once out his eyes flicker from door to door, wondering which one was your room, he notices one that seemed off, he had this feeling like he needed to go to that door, now. He strides towards that door in confidence, Once he is infront of it he twists the handle, opening the door to see a sleeping you, he blushes immidietly after seeing your adorable sleeping face, he 'awh' s and walks over to you, he bends down next to your face and examines it, he smiles obsessively and caresses your face, he stops though and walks towards your drawer, This should be where the clothes is kept, right? He thought as he opened the top one, only to turn blood red and he slaps his hand onto his mouth and backs away, he can feel the warm blood on his hand as he looks away, Wrong drawer.. He thought as he wobbled out of the room and into the bathroom, where he grabbed tissues to wipe his nose. Ya see, he wanted a shirt of yours but ended up opening the drawer that held your undergarments,

Once the blood had stopped he walked back and without looking closed the drawer, still embarrassed, he opened the one under it to find you pjs, he closes it and goes to the next one, Yes! This is the one I was searching for. He thought as he grabbed a hoodie of yours and a big shirt, he closes it before shoving the clothing on his face, inhaling your scent, sighing happily after he did, he grabs more of your belongings and walks back to your computer room, were he stops, pondering for a second, Should I go back in? What if I can't? He thought, he touches the screen before passing right through it, or into it, he grins, now he'd be able to sneak in and out of your house without you ever knowing.

"You'll be mine before you can say 'Emergency food'."
