-Advice? On what, exactly? - Selena said while the waitress placed their drinks on the table, smiling politely.
-Thank you, Amy! Hey, how's your dog? - taylor nodded, smiling.
-He's great, but his teeth is growing so he eats everything he sees. I already lost 5 pair of shoes!
-See, told you should've gotten a cat instead
-I'll listen to you next time, i swear - the girl giggled and left to the balcony, giving the two friends some privacy. Taylor turned to Selena, still smiling.
-Well, good news, me and calvin are over. Bad news, i think i'm into Tom.
-Taylor! What do you mean by that? Are you crazy? You can't just jump into another man to full fill your inner desire. You really should take a time for yourself, aren't you already hurt enough?
-I guess you have a point, but I really like him. He just understands me, he makes me laugh, he's very polite and-
-And you literally broke up with your boyfriend 30 minutes ago!
-Technically 24 minutes, but i get it. It's too soon, the media will chase me again... but I really want this, Sel. This could be my last chance of finding true love. Someone to grow old with, to have cute little babies and a happy and healthy life. Also me and Calvin didn't have a deep connection, to be fair we barely even talked for the last few months.
-First of all, you can AND WILL grow old with me. Second, toddlers are definitely not cute, they are stinky and their tablets are gross. Third, a happy and healthy life needs to come from you, not from a old man playing golf in a rich club. - she sipped a little of her drink, not breaking the eye contact with taylor - But you know I'll always support you, right? When this doesn't work out you can always come to me for a "i told you so" and a shoulder to cry on.
-Well, there's a little bit more... - taylor blushed, looking directly to her beverage.
-Ohhh no, what did you do? I know that face, where's the poop taylor?
-I kinda kissed tom last month...
-YOU WHAT? - exclaimed selena, spilling a little bit of her coffee as she placed it into the table. -shit.
-Hey, don't scream! It's really not that deep, I don't even think he remembers it. We were pretty drunk, I don't remember much of the night either. But I remember he turned his head after my failed attempt to kiss him. And said something like "if you still want this after one month, i'll give it a shot" - she now looked at her friend with a worried expression - as i said we were reeeally drunk, so I don't know if i should try something or not. He haven't said a word about it, so I really don't know what to believe. As far as i know this could be only a really vivid dream.
-You know what, I still think this is a bad idea, but fine. Go for it... I just really recommend keeping it private for a while. I know how the media makes you feel sad and you get all depressed sometimes, if you start this relationship now they're gonna assume you were cheating on calvin and he found out and now you're with tom and - she sighed - well, you know. They always make you the villain for some reason. I just want you to be happy.
-This means a lot, Sel. Really. -The blond smiled, relieved.

Three days have passed, Taylor still a little annoyed about her recent thoughts. Her hair tied up in a messy ponytail, her heart pounding inside the gray sweatshirt.

-What should i do, dibbles? - she grabbed the cat, who was happy to get some attention, unlike meredith who just gave some judgmental looks - I mean, my heart says "go for it", but my brain says "be careful, hold on". And at this point in my life i just don't feel like i should listen to my heart anymore, you know? It didn't get me anywhere before, why would now? At the same time... he's so tall and handsome ass hell - meredith gave taylor a meow before leaving the room - hey, are you really gonna go just because i used my own lyrics?? C'mon meredith come back here. Hey i'm gonna put more food in olivia's plate if you just walk away like that! - and just like if she was understanding, she turned back. Taylor could swear she saw the cat rolling her eyes before laying down in the soft carpet - good girl.

-Maybe I should just give him a call and see what happens? No, you're right, i need a plan. I'll just go to his apartment and say what i need to say. Is it risky? Yes. Am i nervous? Definitely. But i guess it's better than nothing, right dibbles? Yeah, okay, i'm going.
