Roommates (Sero x Reader)

Y/N Pov

 I come home from another exhausting day at work just to find another eviction notice on my door. I rip it off the door and walk in setting it down on the table with the other eviction notices and unopened mail. I go take a long shower then make dinner. During dinner, I'm scrolling through social media and I come across someone looking for a roommate so I decide to apply. Once I'm done I decide to go to sleep. 

The next day was my day off, so I slept in a bit. My alarm goes off at 9 and I groan, turning around to turn your alarm off. Once I do get up, I look at my notifications to see that the person looking for a roommate asked if I wanted to come to look at the house today. After I see this, I get up to get ready to go see the house. When I walk out of My apartment building I check how far the house is away and start to walk. On my way, I stop by Starbucks and order my F/D as well as an extra coffee for the homeowner, trying to be nice. After getting my drinks and breakfast sandwich, I continue on my way. About 8 minutes later I arrive at a modern-looking two-story house with a gated front yard. I open the gate closing it behind myself then walk to the doorstep and ring the doorbell. As I wait I admire the front yard. It has a river rock-like stepping stone path leading up to the front door.

Sero Pov

I hear the doorbell ring as I just got done cleaning up the house a bit for the person that is coming to look at the house. 'I really hope they like it' I silently wished.

No Pov

"Um, Hi are you here to look at the house?" Sero asks with his hand on his neck looking at you. You jump not noticing that the door was opened, looking at the man in front of you he has somewhat short black hair. He's wearing a white t-shirt with some black blue jean pants. "Oh yeah, that's me" you smile at him sweetly. "Oh, I almost forgot, I brought you some coffee. I hope you like it if not that's okay," you say holding out the coffee you got him that's still warm. "I actually didn't have enough time to get coffee so thank you," Sero says taking it from you and moves out of the way to let you in "I'm Sero Hanta by the way," he says. " I'm Y/N L/N," you say back with a sweet smile. "Well Come in, and ill show you around." You walk in and take off your shoes at the door. "Ok, let's start the tour of the living room," he says with a smile. He leads you into a small, but cozy living room, a small couch in the middle of the room, with a TV mounted on the wall in front of it with a PS5 below it on a tv stand. There was also a small coffee table in the middle of the room with a few PS5 controllers on it. You nod appreciatively, spinning around to take it in. You walk into the next room, a large kitchen that seems well used. Tiled floors with grey floors. and across from the kitchen was a reasonably sized dining area with a light brown wooden table with six matching chairs around it.  He starts to show you down the hall to the small storage closet that doesn't have much stuff in it. "So that's the downstairs now to show you the upstares," he says turning around to walk back down the hall. You follow excided to see the rest of the house. You follow him up some carpeted stairs. once at the top, you are met with a hall and he shows you his room on which was on the first door on the right." So this is my room so if you ever need anything just knock" he says opening the door to show you his room witch is a basic room with a twin-sized bed but also he has a yellow and black hammock "I normally sleep in my hammock I find it more comfortable" he says with a cheesy grin. On second look you see a gaming computer and a webcam. "do you make videos or stream?" you ask "Oh, Yeah my friends and I are very popular Twitch and YouTube streamers" he says trying not to brag. "That's so cool! I stream too but I'm not that big I think the most I've had is about 100 viewers" you say shily smiling at him "well hey would you look at that already something we have in common" he says laughing a bit.  Once he closes his door he walks to the next room on the left "This will be your room and you are welcome to decorate it however you want." he says opening the door to show you a decent-sized room with a full mattress in the middle with white bedsheets. "there's not much in here I figured the person who rented could decorate how they wanted" he says. You smile "I'm really liking this so far," you say as he shows you to the bathroom at the end of the hall. "I'm glad to hear that," he says back "anyway this is the bathroom," he says showing you the bathroom which has a shower and a big bathtub. "there is also a front yard witch you saw when you walked in and a back yard that we can go see if you follow me," he says walking back downstairs to a door sliding glass door that is in the dining room. As you walk out you see a decent-sized backyard that is also fenced off. Some flowers are planted along the house and a small greenhouse that has some vegetables and fruits growing inside. After you see the back yard he takes you around the house to the front yard. "Well that will end the tour, What do you think?" Sero seeming to wait for your approval nervously, shifting from foot to foot. You smile widely at him, nodding. "This place is amazing, Sero," you say. He seems to release a breath, flashing a wide smile. "I'm glad you like it. I'll uh...give you some time to think about it." he says "When can I move in?" you say taking him off guard "R-Really that was quick to answer, are you sure you don't want time to think?" he asks "I'm sure just tell me when I can move in." you say with a big smile "Well if you want you can move in today and if you need help moving things I can help" he says sweetly. "Thanks, Sero I might take you up on that offer but first I need to get home to pack. Can I have your number so I can text you tomorrow so you can help move things, That is if your not busy tomorrow?" you ask "Yeah" he says giving you his number. "Thanks again Sero," you say as you both say goodbye as you walk home happily ready to start your new life.
