-"Cloud Parting Star"- Chongyun x Y/N

{ " :~ ♡ ~ :" }

"So Y/N, what you're trying to tell us is that you've never heard of Liyue before?" Xingqiu asks,  taking a seat at the table next to you.

"Mhm. And Rex Lapis? Is that a person?" You reply, scratching your head out of confusion. Chongyun and Xingqiu look at you. 

"All I know is that I was sleeping at home, then boom! Suddenly I was in a weird forest. I mean, Earth doesn't have weird coloured flowers and trees does it?" You laugh. But the boys only showed concerned and confused faces.

"What's this Earth you speak of?" Chongyun questions you. He looks at Xingqiu, but Xingqiu only shrugs his shoulders.

"It's a planet in the solar system? It's got big blue oceans, amazing rainforests, and gigantic cities where people live and work! This is Earth isn't it?" You say, remembering all the pictures you looked at of (Your favourite city) on your phone.

"This is Teyvat my liege." Xingqiu responds, but with a very serious look on his face. He pulls out his book, searching for a possible lead on the place 'Earth'.

"What does he mean? Teyvat? Maybe I'm not dreaming afterall..." You whisper, your words catching Chongyun's ears.

"Y/N, could you explain what happened exactly before you awoke in that forest you spoke of?" Chongyun says, giving you a reassuring look. He smiles.

"Sure."

{ " :~ ♡ ~ :" }

"So what you're trying to say is that, you woke up in this world? And somehow you 'magically' transported to Teyvat from Earth. Correct?" Xingqiu asks you, putting his book down.

"I'm guessing that's the case? But what if I'm just dreaming?" You reply, sighing.

"I don't think that's possible. Anyway, don't worry! We'll find a way back to your world." Xingqiu exclaims. He was excited, but dare not show it.

After talking a little more, you and the boys started to get tired. Chongyun and Xingqiu went to their own rooms, and you were left alone. You decided to take a walk outside of the inn for some fresh air. You walked down the stairs, touching the wooden railing and you slowly go down. For some reason, you start to remember your life on Earth. You were a high school student, studying art. You were good at drawing and loved it, and were praised by people around you for it. Somewhat, these memories felt nostalgic even though it wasn't that long ago. You kept proceeding down the stairs, but you stopped to view the bright moon above in the clouds. 

"Wow.." You though to yourself, smiling and tucking your hair behind your ears. You kept walking, but didn't notice the weak and old wood under your feet. The wood snaps, and you fall through the stairs. The cool wind brushes past you, and you feel relaxed. 

Oh wait. You're falling to your death.

You suddenly stop falling, and someone grabs you. 

"You mortals... So carefree." A mellow voice says. The voice was soothing, but a hint of annoyance in it. You were lifted up, and onto the stairs once again. You looked up at the face of your saviour, and was instantly surprised. He had fair skin, golden eyes, beautiful green hair, and a glowing tattoo on his arm. He looked young, but something about him was different. 

"T-thankyou." You said in a quiet voice, looking down at the ground. "Oh gosh, he's pretty."

"You..." the boy starts. He looks serious.

"Hm?"

"You're not from this world are you?"
