Chapter 20

Jenelle

I wake to Ambrossio peppering kisses on my face.He's already dressed in one of his Armani suites to probably go kick an old lady.
"Kitten while you're with my mother behave."
He stares into my eyes daring me to act up.
I nod and he places another kiss on my lips before leaving. Today is the day I'll be free.

I get off the bed and start my morning routine.I choose an off the shoulder yellow wrap dress and flats for brunch in the dining room with his mother. We need to execute the plan somewhere that has multiple exits but is also visible to everyone especially the guards. I used Angelo's phone to text Natasha additional details and made sure to delete the information before he left. I confirmed with her that she's withdrawn the money and to not come to work today. When I mentioned my cousin to Sophia she was hesitant because didn't like that there was another person in on the plan

Her plan when I first heard it was basic but still genius. I walk to the front door of the suite and two of the guards follow me to the elevator. We walk to the restaurant in the hotel and see Sophia sitting looking like the glamorous trophy wife that she is. She stands  and gives a tight smile before pulling me into a  hug.

"How are you doing dear?"

Before I can answer she looks behind me.
"You two can leave."

The men look at us and hesitantly walk away. They're never supposed to leave my side but with Sophia here there's nothing not to trust. She chose a table in the dining room that she says has a blind spot from the cameras.I don't know how she knows and I'll never question why she does and nobody else knows about that blind spot. Not even her husband and Ambrossio.We sit eating pretending that we're having a great conversation

"When you enter the hallway you walk straight. Then take the first right ,then on the left there's a door to an alleyway. Tell your cousin when she drives off do not speed. In the car make sure you change out of the clothes. Right before you hit the highway there's another car waiting. Ditch that car and jump into that car It can't be traced anywhere.The keys is taped under the bumper"

I nod as if she tells me something funny.Heavy smoke starts circulating the room from the kitchen.Everyone gets up in a panic trying to exit which gives us the perfect cover. The crowd blocks my bodyguards from getting close.She stands and pushes me to the corner to enter the hallway

I walk as fast as I can following the directions she told me. I push open the door and get hit by the stench of garbage in the alleyway.I see the silver Toyota that Natasha is in and I walk calmly to the car with my heart beating a mile a minute. I get in the back seat and cover myself with the blanket  as she drives. I stay low until she gives me the signal that I can get up.

"You good?" She stares at me in  rearview mirror.

I nod as I change into jeans a t-shirt then pull on a straight wig. I stay low in the backseat until we get to the entrance where Sophia says the next car is waiting. It's an old station wagon. Natasha looks at me shocked

"How the hell does she think that can carry us for miles.That car is older than you and me."

I sigh and get in. It's still not safe for me to be out in the open so Natasha takes the wheel again. Once we make it a safe distance she asks me where we're going. At first I wasn't sure but I know it needs to be a place he can't find us.
