My Other Half

Chapter 2

Laura's POV

2 years go by and maybe a text here and there from Wanda but she was always busy being an avenger. She was also in jail with was weird. I miss her a lot. Of course THE Tony Stark has been keeping tabs on me since Sokovia but he doesn't know that I know that he does this. I'm currently about to go on my daily run in Russia. Yes I am in Russia under the Name Lauren Banks.

"Hey."

I hear behind me

"Don't turn around but walk into that ally okay?"

I hear

I do as I'm told and go into the ally

This is probably how I'm going to die

"Okay you can turn around sorry I had to take precautions."

The voice said

I turn around and there Captain America right there

"Oh shit. Wait what?"

I asked confused

"Listen I don't have a lot of time but I need your help."

He says

"What do you need me to do?"

I ask

"I need you to help me break out some of the Avengers from jail. I know you have powers I saw Tony's file on you. You could really help me."

He said

"What do I get out fo it?"

I ask

"A spot on the Avengers team. We were going to contact you sooner but we got uh split up as you can see."

He said

"Okay I'm in."

I say

"Great pack what you want and meet me here at noon sharp tomorrow."

He said while putting his hat hoodie and sunglasses back on

At the "jail"

"Okay you take the Avenger in the cells on the right I got the left okay? Meet back at the jet."

He said while putting his shield on his arm

"Okay."

I say running right

I see Clint and two other guys I've never seen before

"Laura?"

Asked Clint when I came up to his cell door

"Yeah hi it's me. Im here with Steve and were here to bust you out of the hell hole."

I said

"Thank god wait look out!"

He said as I spot about 5 guard heading my way

"Shit okay I'll be right back."

I say running toward them

I quickly manipulate them into walking over the edge of the railing

"Oh shit Jesus Laura.. You didn't have to do THAT."

He said looking at me

"Well Steve said at ALL costs sooooo."
