Jeremy's POV

It was gruesome. Scott's head was sliced from his neck, and he was stabbed in the heart a few times, too. Now I started crying like a little girl. I fell on my knees and cried, looking at Scott's blank face. I managed to take my fingers and shut his eyelids, but after that, I felt another living presence.

I slide back, scared, looking around. All I see is a shining butcher knife. I stand up and slam into the wall as I start to see blank, white, glowing eyes and a wide white smile, along with the butcher knife in the man's hand and a glowing bronze badge on his chest.

The man steps into the light, head cocked to the side, covered in purple.

"You can call me the Purple Man," he says.
"But I guess you won't be calling me that for long, seeing that you'll be dead in a few seconds."

With tears streaming down my face, I thought of a plan. I quickly sneak into the Parts & Service room when he blinked. He didn't see me.
I take my small flip phone out of my pocket and speed dial Mike.
"What is it, Jere?!" He says, not amused. I shush him.

Whispering, I ask him to help me, and I tell him what's happening.

"Are you okay?! I'll be right there, just give me a second," he says.
He had gotten there in about a second, hoping I wasn't lying.
He busted through the locked doors.

"Hello?!" Mike yells, unsure about his choice. He hears me crying and runs over.
"Are you okay? You're being a bit loud, try to keep it down. Now, let's go through the window," He whispers.
We run over to the window and find out it's locked. Of course.
Mike picks up a crowbar and hits the window. It breaks, we escape.
