After arriving at the training island, Kat instructed me on what I should do. the island was quite small; (compared to Ramsgate at least.) There were three training dummies of a behemoth know as a "Drask." At this point I had no idea what a behemoth was. However, this would all change very soon. Kat then spoke up, saying: "Show me what you can do with those repeaters, Golden!" I walked over near one of the dummies, took aim, and started firing. The feeling was...indescribable. They felt absolutely perfect in my hands. I of course tried every other weapon available first.
The axe was too heavy for me to use properly. the hammer was even heavier than the axe, and i couldn't even hold it when I shot it. The war pike was really good, but it required quite a lot of stamina. Next, I checked out the chain blades. they required even more stamina than the pike, but the area they covered was excellent. The aether strikers were like hammers on my hands. the felt good, but the mantras were too complicated for me to remember. Finally, the repeaters. they had almost the perfect weight. they were a bit on the heavier side, but they felt perfect in my hands. The fact that I was to dual wield them made them seem even more powerful.
As I kept practicing with the repeaters, it quickly got dark. As Kat and I ran back to the airship and departed for Ramsgate, a stormfront came in. Kat did her best to pilot us through it, only loosing control when a bolt of lightning struck the stern of the airship. This lead to the ship spinning out until Kat regained control, but by this time I had already been thrown off...
