Harry's POV:
I was walking to a café, after a long day of classes, may I add, when my phone started ringing with a call from my photography professor. Groaning to myself, I answered the call. I can't possibly leave my teacher hanging, right?
So, I picked up the call and for the next five minutes, we had a pretty one-sided conversation (on her part), while I continued walking. She basically wanted to tell me about a great opportunity that had come up for the students of the photography department. She didn't know the exact details, but some other department in the university wanted to 'hire' a photographer for certain purposes, which was unknown to her as well.
My professor further mentioned that she couldn't exactly give everything away, but I was supposed to meet a representative from said department in like ten minutes. Ten minutes! Seriously, I've had the longest day of classes and I've been looking forward to going back to my dorm, order food with my roommate and then go to sleep. But no. Of course, nothing is going to be that easy.
Ms. Crossword told me she'd text me the name and address of the meeting venue after she hung up the call. She also very casually mentioned that they were looking to hire me specifically, so I should keep an open mind while considering my options after the meeting. Ugh, this is so much effort.
A few seconds later, my professor had hung up on the call, and had sent me the details of the impromptu meeting. Coincidentally enough, I was supposed to meet the representative at the very café I was walking to right now. Huh. Maybe this meeting won't be that bad. Whoever decided to have a semi-official meeting at my favourite café clearly had very good taste.
The text also mentioned that I was looking for a girl my age, and that she apparently knew me so I would be approached. Weird, but okay. Why not.
Anyway, my name is Harry Styles. As I'm sure it's clear, I'm a photography major in the University of Manchester. I'm in my sophomore year, and honestly, it's kind of lucky that I possibly have a college gig lined up already, considering it's just been a month since the semester started. I'm almost sure that I'll accept the job; I'll probably get extra credits for my classes, and I'll confirm that just in case.
Other than that, I live in the dorms which line the very edge of the college campus. That way, I get easier access to the campus and the wonderful world outside it. I share my dorm room with my one roommate. His name is Niall Horan. We met last year when we moved in together, and have been friends ever since. He's a pretty fun guy, although very loud. He majors in music, and our room is hence constantly noisy. Silence, what's that?
I don't really do any other activities in college; I'm too busy for that, between my photography courses and the part time job I have at a bakery. I'm just a cashier, but we get discounts on coffee and baked goods, so it's great. I would eat there more often, but it's out of campus and I really don't wanna walk all the way there for a quick coffee and bagel.
The café I'm going to right now, however, is within the campus so it's easier commute. Speaking of the café, I got there five minutes after my professor had hung up on me. As soon as I walked in, I was approached by one of my close friends, who'd apparently been drinking coffee there.
Eclipse walked up to me and gave me a quick hug, "Harry, hey!"
I ruffled her hair to annoy her, "Hey Cleopatra. What are you doing here?"
She smacked my arm away before beckoning at the coffee cup in her hand, "Drinking coffee, obviously? I was waiting for you though."
I frowned, "Ah shit, I'm sorry, Cleo. I'm actually supposed to meet somebody right now-"
