"Hurry up Nellie, you're gonna be late for school!" my mother yelled out
from the kitchen.
"Yeah, yeah alright, just give me a bloody second! It's still early!" I replied, still sleepy but eager to get the day over with and begin my life with freedom and total independence. At least I thought. I couldn't be bothered getting out of bed, I could only imagine myself rolling out and walking to the bathroom. I was busting to go pee, but instead I laid back, pulled the blanket over my head and released a warm flow of urine in bed.
What a mess, what a shame I thought.
My mother has to clean my bed sheets now.
