NOT THAT IT wasn't hot every day, but this sunday was particularly scorching. elliot spent the majority of his morning at the toretto garage after having a late start. mostly everyone was present; it was the norm on certain weekdays and weekends.
sighing elliot rose from his seat and strode over to the spot where jesse was busy melting something. elliot said, "hey," making sure not to frighten the other by lightly resting a hand on his hip.
"hey," pulled his helmet off, and grinned. with a smile, elliot gave him a water bottle. "you alright?" elliot chose to ask after observing jesse's peculiar silence.
the blonde nodded and continued to drink the cold water. "tell me," elliot responded, knowing the man was lying. jesse sighed, setting the water down and faced elliot.
"are you seeing someone else?" he said, causing elliot to furrow his brows. the korean man was nearly shitting bricks right now. why was jesse asking that?
elliot shook his head, taking a big gulp and finding his throat was dry. "why would you ask that?" he asked, taking a step toward the blonde to ensure that no one else overheard.
"vince just mentioned something that's been bothering me all morning, i needed to ask," jesse added, making elliot scoff. of course, it was vince. the man never had anything better to do but start shit.
"what did he say?" elliot requested, looking at the man in front of him. "he asked if we were official, i said i didn't really know you and that you might have been seeing someone else, is that true?" jesse replied, biting his bottom lip. elliot scoffed, shaking his head.
"of course not, jesse," he told him. "do you not believe me?" he said, observing jesse's doubtful expression.
"i mean—i don't know, i know we're not dating, dating, but still i hoped you'd wouldn't go and sleep with anybody else," she told him.
"believe me, jess. i'm not, look vince and i had a heated argument before i came to find you last night, and he's been pissed off since then," elliot continued. "he's an asshole trying to mess up things,"
"okay," jesse gently muttered. "you are the only one who wears the tags, jesse," elliot smiled, grabbing his hips.
"i believe you," jesse assured him, smiling. elliot grinned and kissed the other person's lips. as they talked and kissed, a tow truck pulled into the shop, carrying the burned-out automobile.
"what the hell is this?" dominic muttered, stepping away from mia . "what do you got there?" he asked the blonde who appeared in front of the car, smiling broadly.
"this is your car," the blonde stated, gesturing toward the smashed car. elliot chuckled as he leaned against the wall, arms across his chest.
dom gestured at the vehicle. "my car? I didn't say a ten minute car, i said a ten second car,"
