Tubbo POV:
Yo my surprise the make shift stage this new band has set up in a short amount of time was surprisingly well done.
And the curtain Shawn had me sit behind was thick, not thick enough to make the rest of the party completely silent, but thick enough to make it so o could hear myself think.
I could hear that the band had started playing, I didn't pay attention to the music, and I didn't sneak a peak around the curtain to look at any one.
I didn't want to fall into that trap again.
I couldn't tell if they were playing their own songs or they were covering someone else's, but it did sound vaguely familiar.
The song finally came to an end and the curtain was rushed open and a group of two boys and two girls came over, celebrating and already drinking to my surprise, however it only seemed to be one of the girls who was drinking.
"Who the fuck is this?" She said gesturing towards me
Shawn immediately rushed in front of her "oh this is my new friend... come to think of it I never actually got your name" he smiled
"It's toby. But people call me Tubbo"
"Aww what a cute nickname!" One of the other girls explained
"So you already know me, the other guy over there is josh, the cute one is nihachu and the one that's already drinking the night away is minx" Shawn cleared up
"nice to meet you all" I said "may I have one?" I carried on, referring to the bottle in minx's hand "how old are you?" She asked squinting her eyes.
A short passage of time went by before she began laughing "I'm joking, I don't fucking care here kiddie" minx laughed passing me a bottle from a cooler they had hidden behind a box.
"Let's try not to get Tubbo to drink yeah? I already kind of gave him a brownie... and he's already had a bottle of vodka" Shawn whispered
"Oh shit, let's go kid your the man!" Josh celebrated grabbing me by the shoulder and with his other hand taking a beer bottle, forcing me to jump up and down with him.
"Thanks" I smiled as I drank around half the bottle in one sitting
"Gheez go kid!" Minx coaxed
"Should we really be condoning this?" I heard nihachu
"I would say no but I think he's had a rough time lately" Shawn answered
I pretended to not hear the conversation, even though it was about me, I just let it slide and continue having fun with yet another band I had no right talking to.
