It has been a couple days since we've gotten back from my mother's family As soon as we did get back Kate was all over me asking me to tellaport her all over the place after a while Tanya had to tell her to stop because it was driving me crazy and making me hungry using that much power
It was close to night so I was just sitting on the Couch drawing another picture of my mother to add to the stack that already had of everyone When Tanya had came into the living and holds her hand out to me
" Come on let's go hunt your eyes are looking kind of dark and I also want to take you somewhere" she says smiling I placed my art supplies on the table standing up taking her hand as we head out of the house
After we are a little ways away from the house we slow down a bit trying to pick up any sound from the animals Once I catch a scent of a deer I take off leaving her to Chase after me by time she gets to me I've already finished draining my deer standing up from the kill dusting myself off
" You're getting a lot better at that you managed to catch it this time without messing up your clothes to much" she laughs
" yes but it still tastes horrible It's not as nice as human blood but I do feel a lot better killing an animal rather than a human I can see why you switched all those years ago it don't haunt me as much as I did before with the humans But I still don't feel I have enough control to go into a town like how Alice wants to go shopping or anything like that" I say
" Yes well you'll get used to the taste and it won't be long before you can control your self just make sure you stick to this diet as much as possible so you'll be able to be around humans without the constant urge to drain them"
"The 1st few times you do go into town it's best if you just hold your breath it drives off some of the hunger and helps the thirst I do think you shouldn't go alone either your first time just in case you do snap whoever you go with can help you" I nod at her
" Alright come on I hear a few more and then like I said I wanna take you somewhere" she says as she takes off this time leaving me to follow Once we both got our fill she grabbed my hand and then showed me a map pointing out a spot that she wanted me to tellaport us to so I did
When we got there we were right below a cliff That she led me on top of When we got there I seen there was a blanket laid out on the snow With a few little lamps surrounding it and a radio set off to the side It took me a moment to realize what was going on before I looked at her
She was already looking at me and smiling "I thought a nice date would be in order right now right... I just I mean you're OK with it right" I vigorously nodded my head yes she chuckled and led me over to the blanket where we both sat down
"What brought all of this on" I ask as she pulls me closer to her side " I got to thinking this morning you've been with us for a while I mean you and I have grown quite close I was hoping that I could ask you if you wanted to... well if you... um" she seemed nervous trying to ask what she wanted to
I waited to see what she was going to ask As she seemed to get tongue tied and not be able to find the words when I looked into her eyes I just smiled "Since you can't seem to figure out your question can I ask one of my own" I say sarcastically
She laughs and nods her head for me to continue "Well I'm not sure where you want this to go but I was wondering if you would ever consider being my mate you make me rather happy and I just want to make you happy as well but if you don't I understand" I asks looking down at her hand as I play with it
She seems to be thinking it over for a bit before she grabs my chin gently lifting my head up to look at her in the eye I stare in her eyes getting lost in the creamy hunny gold of them then before I know it her a lips meet mine
The kiss starts at slow before she adds a bit of force I'm not sure how long we were kissing before she pulls away resting her forehead on mine "Is that a yes or what" I ask She places small kisses on my lips a few more times
And before I get lost in her honey eyes again She answers "yes I would love to be your mate as long as you will have me I know I don't have the best reputation with being a succubus and all but I would love for you to be my mate I swear to solely be devoted to you as long as you are with me"
I can't help the big smile that comes on to my face when she says this I throw my arms around her neck and quickly pressed the most passionate kiss to her lips that I can she lays back with her arms around my waist pulling me on top of her
After who knows how long we finally break apart and when we do she places herself where she's on top of me I look up and smile the northern lights shining behind her just seem to heighten her beauty even more

I'm just basking the gorgeous view of her in the lights before she is leaning down capturing my lips and another passionate filled kiss
Kissing and talking may have been the only thing we did that night but it quickly ranked high on my list of favorite nights I have ever had just me and her and the sweet kisses we shared together I felt like everything was falling in to there right place after so long I had my mother brother a new family and now Tanya and I couldn't be happier
